For me this is a good thing since although it's just them buying that was reported, it already adds some confidence to people not to feel too much fear despite the recent hacks happening. After all, these things will eventually calm down, and people will eventually buy again but those who buy during the time when others are fearful, instead of losing their confidence in Bitcoin, are the ones that will benefit in this kind of market.
Companies like Strategy are really good at reading the psychology of investors out there and thinking outside the box. That all cannot be separated from Saylor in putting himself ahead of any bitcoin investor. Imo this buying Strategy is pretty good because the remaining supply of bitcoin continues to be controlled by them rather than having to be taken by hackers.

Not bad, but those that are panicking won't calm unless they do more research that will help them gain a better knowledge of what it takes to be successful as a long term holder. I read another thread yesterday about a company that have plans of selling because they are scared of the hack that is happening, but I doubt that they will even sell, some of them just want to create more FUD so that some weak hands will end up selling. It's those that doesn't do research on their own that will end up selling because of the rumours they must have heard.

Search more and learn more are very good because it brings more knowledge which is good foundation to survive in this volatile market with a lot of fuds but people still need another important thing. They must have experience in this market by themselves so to reduce chance of getting fearful and panic with uncontrolled and emotional actions, they must avoid trading, and focus on investment. Of course they must prepare their finance well and have good risk and investment capital management. They must learn about it, then try to practice rightly but it's vital to learn about fuds. https://endthefud.org/

It's those that doesn't do research on their own that will end up selling because of the rumours they must have heard. Those that panic sell fall for the market sentiment that could have been a psychological tactic to manipulate them into selling in the first place. This fear and rush to sell off is where a predator actor like microstrategy with larger capital take advantage of the situation to accumulate these asset cheaply. People who sell out of fear create mispricing that a company like microstrategy capitalize on and that's how asymmetric upside is captured in the long game. So that's why I agree that with more research and knowledge, retail investors won't fall prey to such fear tactics and sell off our of panic but find better ways to secure their asset mostly in these times where hacking has become on the rise.

While some sold their Bitcoins due to the recent hacks, Strategy continues to be aggressive with buying, adding another 811 BTC worth $65.5 million. According to the report, Strategy now holds a total of 849,327 BTC, with a total purchase cost of around $64.08 billion and an average buying price of $75,451 per BTC. At the reported market value of around $65.26 billion, they are still sitting on an unrealized profit of approximately $1.18 billion or 1.84% For me this is a good thing since although it's just them buying that was reported, it already adds some confidence to people not to feel too much fear despite the recent hacks happening. After all, these things will eventually calm down, and people will eventually buy again but those who buy during the time when others are fearful, instead of losing their confidence in Bitcoin, are the ones that will benefit in this kind of market. There is no profit with panic selling, and many people still haven't realized that or maybe they are not in total control of their emotions. During the bear season is the best time for more accumulation, not a period where fear should set in. What time is best to accumulate bitcoin if not during bear seasons? Bitcoin has experienced some drastic marlet sentiments recently but it's price has not gone below the $50k margin so I would say that it has handled it better than I would have imagined. That's enough reason to trust in bitcoin the more, this phase is not a phase where fear should be a stumbling block to potential future benefits.

Not really Their purchases has fallen ever since they started making STRC a priority to get it to par Check prior purchases especially around last year or earlier this year and you'd see they been careful. For me this is a good thing since although it's just them buying that was reported, it already adds some confidence to people not to feel too much fear despite the recent hacks happening There wasn't much sell off since people had faith that since its binance it won't hurt them much And if someone needs a firm like strategy that engages in his supposed infinite glitch to buy bitcoin To boost their confidence due to an hack on an exchange It shows they don't really understand why they chose to hold bitcoin.

After what happened to Binance it's expected that a lot of people would see reasons to move their coins to a more secured wallet for self-custody even some traders keeping their rewards their might also consider same but one thing is certain that situations like these mostly lead to panic selling even though the dump isn’t much but whales are always hanging around seeking opportunities to buy more and that’s what strategy did.

Price of Bitcoin was already on downfall before the hack of Binance and I don't think there is much depreciation in price of Bitcoin due to recent Binance hack. I do agree to your point that whales are always there to take advantage of the panic because that allows them to buy Bitcoin at discounted price while others fear to buy. Seeing the current price pattern of Bitcoin there is likelihood that price may once again fall below 70k and if that happens then it will be a good buying opportunity.

Why don't you mention if they're accumulating 65m worth of bitcoin averagely at 81k each? Strategy is still buying it, but it's always on the top. When the price is pumping, the buy more, but when the price is dipping they buy less. If they're still doing this, their average price of accumulation is slowly going up. It's just another "sunken cost" by saylor's company. I can't really tell you it's a smart idea. I also admit saylor has more balls than me by buying at the local top. I'm also wondering why are you also calling it good thing because the fact it's going opposite to the basic theory of trader to always buy at bottom and sell at the top. So you can't really argue Saylor bought at people's fear due to the binance hack because majority of his accumulation was before the hack happened.

They can afford to buy more and more because they 1. Have the money to do so. That is a big organization. 2. Know that the perfect time to buy is in the period when there is panic. 3. They kinda know that those who have the largest number of bitcoins will even be able to determine/control the market in the future.

This is what I was saying the other day when somebody expected ETF to sold some Bitcoin and I think otherwise. People don't have a reason to sell Bitcoin because the stolen money are in other coins, ETH is where they keep large percentage of the stolen coins. Saylor did not panic, other institutions with reserve did not panic, why should we panic. This is a phase that will soon be of the past, the market confidence will come back like nothing ever happened. If you have been following Saylor in the last 5 years, you will know he is not bothered about the noises, he will do what he want and give his advice where necessary and move on. This Binance hack will trend a while because it's one of the biggest exchange, but give it some days or a month max, it will be forgotten. Who still remember that Bitget lost millions of dollars to hacker but the attention is not in there side again. Polymarket third party platform was compromised and millions was stolen that same day and they are forgotten.

Agree that consistent buying during periods of fear is generally a positive signal for Bitcoin holders, but Strategy is also not innocent when it comes to dumping BTC in the season of panic selling. That said, calling their 811 BTC accumulation aggressive feels a bit stretched because they have done far larger weekly buys in the past I mean tens of thousands of BTC in a single week at times. I believe this looks more like their smaller weekly BTC accumulation rather than a bold move. Meanwhile, the real lesson from the recent Binance hacks isn't about Strategy buying; it’s that exchange risk is still very real and self-custody remains the only way to actually own your BTC.

It surprises me, that some investors are already selling their Bitcoins because of the Binance hack and the recent wallet incidents. Instead of selling your Bitcoin investment that you intend to hold for the long term, these incidents should remind us of the importance of securing our Bitcoins and choosing reliable platforms, rather than making emotional investment decisions.

It’s only natural for some people who have already bought Bitcoin to panic when they realize the market price of Bitcoin has dropped. This reaction stems from their lack of a full understanding of how the market works. They need guidance and advice from people with market experience to help them stay confident. A strategy outlines the approach to take in response to market conditions. During a downturn, they buy the specified amount, and they also buy when prices differ from current levels. According to this report, there are two key lessons to be learned. Don’t be afraid when the market falls, and be consistent in buying—because, in fact, consistent buying is the action that will save you.

It's not that aggressive, but they understand what they're investing in. They've been putting money into Bitcoin since 2020 --- and since they started accumulating, there have been several major events in the market. Despite all of that, Bitcoin has continued to grow. So they just look at the bigger picture, seeing that there's no point for them to get caught up in worrying about Bitcoin. It's better for them to stay consistent with accumulating for their long-term goals.

They are wise and taking advantage of the moment. Once a wise man said, " When others are selling, you should buy this is what they are doing right now, haha. I don't know why people are panicking and selling their Bitcoin out of fear FOMO. While I believe that if you are holding your Bitcoin with a long-term plan, then in such a case you are in trouble, and if you are holding your Bitcoin in a safe place, then you are good to go and should not panic-sell due to FOMO and uncertainty. I would say that someone who is selling their Bitcoin due to a recent incident and panicking is the biggest moron in my point of view. Rather than taking advantage of the moment to buy more, they are selling. Don't you think this is what one should not do? Well, this is my point of view on this. CMIIW! I would also love to hear your point of view on this. What do you think about this?

You're right, Bitcoin was already on the downtrend cause it dropped from mid 80k mark towards 79k before the hack so it didn't affect it much, 70k is a good buying opportunity, i heard some folks wish it goes below that so they can buy more ahead of the new year. Those who fear to buy as it goes lower would regret but the main regret would be on those who sold after the hack out of panic cause it would still recover with time. If institutions can take advantage of the dip, more individuals should learn to do so as well.

It's those that doesn't do research on their own that will end up selling because of the rumours they must have heard. While other investors are becoming afraid of the market due to the recent hack on Binace, Microstrategy and other big companies were busy using this opportunity to buy Bitcoin and hold for themselves. The idea of buying Bitcoin in time when other investors might be panicking is a good endeavor and their big companies where able to buy cheap after investors that were afraid of holding their Bitcoin were thinking that price is going to fall more than what we might have seen became foolish of their decisions. This has shown that the best time to invest in Bitcoin is during market collapse.

I'm only sorry for those who get distracted by the recent hacks and went into active selling of their bitcoin. Anyone who understands bitcoin and exchange won't go on to sell their bitcoin because everyone knows that the losses was to be taken care of by the exchange. Bitcoin is still very cheap now and whales understand it very well and that is why they're using the opportunity to buy more bitcoin now. This current Buying by Strategy will remind investors that bitcoin is still a good asset.
Some people only profess that bitcoin is a good asset but do not practice it by buying continuously. They still have some fears due to present hacks, perhaps they'll stop being distracted and go back to buying bitcoin now.
I've been thinking about the same thing. I don't understand why people are panicking when any money that was stolen is not going to cost anyone anything other than Binance itself because they have announced that they are going to take care of all the funds that were stolen from their users, and if I'm not wrong, they have already complete 90% of the refunds as I have also received an email about the update. I think this should be enough reason for people to calm down, such things happen in financial markets and financial industries, and people will need to learn to deal with these things as well. Those who are panicking right now when they know they are getting their money back should think about those who lost their bitcoins in the coldcard attack, because none of them got anything back and they lost everything they had, which is extremely sad, and that was an incident that was worth mourning over by the users, but this time, it's the exchange that has taken the hit, and I'm pretty sure Binance can handle it being the largest centralized exchange in the world. So, people need to stop panicking, and focus on their activities, whether trading or investments.
