OdinOS Core + OdinOS Forge
Self-hosted control for CPU and GPU mining farms

Your farm. Your controller. Your data.

Disclosure: this announcement text was prepared with AI assistance and is posted on behalf of the OdinOS project owner.

I am the developer of OdinOS. This is the official announcement thread for both products:

  • OdinOS Core - self-hosted management for CPU mining farms.
  • OdinOS Forge - the separate GPU+CPU sibling for GPU farms that also need independent CPU mining tasks.

The controller, dashboard and persistent farm state run on infrastructure controlled by the operator.

OdinOS Core - CPU farm management

Core is designed for Linux CPU-mining workers.

Core features
  • Deploy compatible Linux CPU miners from an uploaded package or direct HTTPS URL.
  • Use Flight Sheets to manage miner, pool and wallet settings.
  • Inspect uptime, mining telemetry, CPU load and bounded miner logs.
  • Run remote diagnostics through an authenticated browser console.
  • Configure huge pages and MSR support on compatible hardware.
  • Install signed controller and worker updates with rollback.
  • Use the responsive dashboard from desktop or phone.

Core plans - USDT
  • Community: 2 CPU workers - free
  • Core 10: 10 workers - 19/year or 79 one-time
  • Core 50: 50 workers - 59/year or 239 one-time
  • Core 100: 100 workers - 99/year or 399 one-time
  • Core Unlimited: unlimited workers - 199/year or 799 one-time

OdinOS Forge - GPU + CPU farm management

Forge is a separate self-hosted controller for Linux GPU and CPU mining farms. Workers can run independent GPU and CPU miner tasks concurrently. CPU mining is included and never consumes a paid GPU seat.

Forge features
  • GPU-first dashboard with NVIDIA telemetry through nvidia-smi and AMD telemetry through Linux amdgpu sysfs.
  • Independent GPU and CPU Flight Sheet tasks on the same worker.
  • Checksum-pinned miner packages with mandatory SHA-256 verification and execution without invoking a shell.
  • Live hashrate, accepted/rejected shares and bounded miner logs.
  • Controller-independent temperature, board-power and no-hashrate watchdogs.
  • Telegram offline/recovery, miner-safety and failed-update notifications.
  • Optional GPU profit switching using Kryptex or hashrate.no estimates net of power cost.
  • NVIDIA, AMD and thermal OC profile schemas with hard validation guardrails.
  • Signed controller and worker releases, version health checks and rollback.

Forge plans - USDT
  • Community: 2 GPU workers with unlimited cards - free
  • Forge 24: 24 GPU cards - 29 for 12 months of updates / 119 lifetime updates
  • Forge 96: 96 GPU cards - 79 / 319
  • Forge 240: 240 GPU cards - 149 / 599
  • Forge Unlimited: unlimited GPU cards - 299 / 1199

Community capacity is based on GPU workers, regardless of how many cards are installed in each of the two machines. Paid Forge plans count every detected GPU, including cards on those first two workers. CPU tasks consume no GPU seat. Removed Community worker slots and paid GPU seats have a separate seven-day release cooldown.

Forge release and current limitations
The current public Forge release is v0.1.7, with signed Linux amd64 controller, worker and installation archives.

  • The generic Ubuntu worker image is available, but GPU mining currently requires an existing Linux rig with matching drivers or a driver stack installed by the operator.
  • Managed NVIDIA/AMD GPU image channels are still undergoing physical hardware qualification.
  • Physical AMD validation and mixed NVIDIA/AMD cold-boot and long-duration tests remain in progress.
  • Reference OC profiles are candidates, not verified production settings, until local stability testing is completed.
  • VBIOS flashing is disabled.

We are not claiming universal GPU compatibility, automatic driver qualification for untested hardware, or a guaranteed hashrate increase or earnings.

Security and licensing

Release installers verify signatures before installation. Miner packages require a direct HTTPS URL and mandatory SHA-256 digest. Workers are unprivileged; device operations requiring root are kept in a narrow helper. Miner processes use a separate account that cannot read the worker identity or agent environment.

Each paid licence covers one customer and one controller. Annual access includes 12 months of official signed updates. The one-time option includes updates during the commercial lifetime of the relevant product. The installed version remains usable after annual update access expires. Hosting is provided by the customer.

Feedback requested
Core feedback is especially useful from Ryzen, EPYC and Xeon operators. For Forge, I am looking for experienced Linux GPU operators willing to test one rig and report GPU detection, driver behavior, mixed-rig behavior, miner integration, telemetry/watchdogs and recovery after disconnects.

Please include CPU/GPU model, driver, kernel, miner and algorithm when reporting a problem. Questions, criticism and reproducible bug reports are welcome in this thread.
