I have not played crash with others, I have always done my gaming a lobe unless a few times I would play sports bettig with friends. I have not pictured playing crash with others but I don't there will be much difference with playing a lone. Playing as a group may even lead to confusion because there will be difference in opinion on what the target multiplier should be unless such details were already agreed before starting the game. The only time playing as a group will make sense if the gambling is exclusively for fun.
It is not just about the confusion that happens while playing crash with multiple players, I have noticed that my friends who play crash (because I don't) usually play under pressure when it involves multiple players. The time spent while playing, the amount spent and the physical tension feels different than when they play alone. Op is right, playing crash with others feels like one is unconsciously trying to impress the others or prove a point to others who are involved in the game. Ofcourse if it is for fun and everyone involved understood what they are doing, then there is no problem.

I lose the same amount either way, 0. I think crash is just absolute shit and I refuse to give the game a dime. It's slow, animation is usually the same boring shit, and there's nothing drawing my eye to the screen keeping me awake.
I know lots like crash but it just doesn't excite me at all.

Doing research, observing players' behaviour, trying solo or multiplayer games, or trying to use patterns or strategies to maximize your wins, none of this is actually going to do anything because at the end of the day, it's a casino game, and casino games are totally based on luck and nothing can help you get ahead of the house as the rounds and games are programmed in a way to eventually make the house profitable and players lose. I've seen so many people playing multiplayer crash using specific betting pattern and balances, and I've noticed how they are trying to be smart and make profits, but eventually, the game exhausts their bankroll and they make a quiet exit after a brutal losing streak.
Every gambler needs to understand that gambling is just for trying your luck, and having some fun. You shouldn't think that if you have a high bankroll, you can use that as a capital to make money from a casino game by using a specific pattern, because that will not work. A lot of people lose so much money in crash games because of the same mindset. They win some money initially, and then they start to think that if they use a larger bankroll and increase their bet size, they can actually make good money from it, but no, eventually, you are going to lose, and then you will regret everything you have done. So instead of facing that situation, just stay in your limits, and do it moderately.

I think the only difference is how fast you lose playing alone and among the crowd. By playing alone, you tend to place bets faster, without intervals between them, as there aren't distractors. On the other hand, when you have people nearby, naturally you will talk to them, get distracted by them, what may take your focus from gambling away for seconds or minutes every few bets.
And in case it's a physical casino, there are even more distractors, so you end spending more time, but less money compared to virtual gambling.

Playing alone with crash is ideal for me, I don't have to chitchat with the others. But it also looks fun when there are other crash players that you're talking things and just want to have fun. I'd expect that I'll never make money playing crash, I've played it plenty of times but I'm not good at it. I don't have the luck in properly timing on when I should stop or before the crash happens. It's a fun game but if it's about making money, expect that crash players who are into it are having fun and don't make a lot. Sportsbetting is quite more easier even sharing ideas with someone than betting alone
It actually is, there's no one to pressure you there. You analyze or not, you can place your bet however you want.

The moment you are trying to mathematically justify betting while still totally ignoring the presence of luck and probability there's a very high chance you're on a trend to a losing streak. Besides almost every losing streak was a function of them feeling closer to getting it or winning per say. Anyways, playing alone or not mathematically doesn't change the probability or variance distribution of that particular game because at the end of the day it is either you are lucky or not. Psychology is more like a coping mechanism instead.

But I’m curious, what really made you lose interest in Aviator? Was it because you didn’t find the game interesting anymore or simply due to the lose? It was getting addictive and I could see it, only God knows how much time in a day I spend on that stuff and how much money, I was wiping my account and depositing more just to keep going and after a while it just hit me that if I continued like that I wouldn't be able to stop myself later on anymore. The losses were also a factor since I was depositing and losing more than I could afford and with gambling I do it only with money I can afford to lose, so when I started doing something that was making me break that rule I just knew it had to stop or it would consume me so I pulled away from it and haven't played any crash games ever since.

I know lots like crash but it just doesn't excite me at all.
I also avoid playing crash, but because of completely different reasons. I believe it is a good game and there is some actual entertainment value attached to it, the problem comes to the fact it is how addictive can be to some people. In my case my eyes get completely caught by the number on the screen and heart beats accelerate as the number goes up and up and I am supposed to decide when to crash, knowing pretty weel I could miss out the chance to get an even higher amount of money by cashing out too early. I recognize the potential of the game and thrus, I decide to give other games a chance instead of fully diving into crash and it's several variants.

I don't know about this study, but I think either way you can lose more money if you're not careful with how you handle your bankroll. Well, some reasons in the OP about why playing solo that may result to more losses make sense, but some aren't. When you play with more people or group of friends, there will always be a possibility that you all are going to compete for the highest cashout multiplier. Also when things are becoming very fun, you may never walk away even if you already drained the allocated funds for your gambling that day, because you enjoy the company of the people with the same interest as you.
Therefore, on my POV, I don't think losing more money in gambling doesn't normally happens when you're playing solo, but it is a result of poor bankroll management and poor financial decisions.

I must commend you on that, that was very brave if you to have figured out you were headed for a ditch and turned back before it happened. This isn’t a quality that many gamblers have, and that’s why we see several addicted gamblers. Many of them didn’t even know when they got there, just like you, it was just a normal game they enjoyed, but then it became more demanding, time and money that goes in becomes more unusual than it was meant to be, and rather seeing the big picture, they prefer to pay a blind eye to the signs, believing they’d get a breakthrough from the losses somehow. Kudos to you mate.

- Shared losses feel smaller. When everyone busts together, it hurts less. So it’s harder to notice when it’s time to stop.
It's ridiculous to have such thoughts because you never know the budget others are running on. Not to mention that most of those accounts that flashes huge wins or and little losses may just be bot accounts? - Betting to be seen. When everyone can see your bet, it’s tempting to bet bigger than planned.
It's a public validation, main character syndrome issue. Such a dumb thing to do but a lot of gamblers do it anyway. They want to be seen at the top of the losing/winning list, so they stake higher. If you switch formats to get around your own limits, that’s a sign to stop, not to change games Easier said than done. This is where the real question comes in--- How? Everything you mentioned here seems to be a one-way consolation trap that keeps a gambler invested in the game. Sometimes, quitting will only happen if the funds the user has handy have been totally exhausted.

But in Solo mode player can personally initiate new round one after another. As a result, they often cannot tell how many bet have been placed. Suppose any player is betting $1 per bet. If he plays 100 round in an hour, his expected loss will not be same as expected loss of someone who plays 400 round. Even with same house edge, total wager become four times as large. So playing alone does not increase the likelihood of losing more in each round. In fact, playing more rounds quickly leads to increase in total exposure. But even in multiplayer mode, there are risk. Such as crowd pressure, FOMO and temptation to change your target after seeing other secure large cashout.

The more time a gambler spent on casinos the bigger the chance of them losing their money even if they have won already, stopping and walking away is the biggest problem that many gamblers can't solve.
I agree. Casinos definitely want that, and they are successful in getting people to want it whether they realize it or not. The objective is to get people to spend more time playing because people are more likely to lose over the course of spending more time playing. It's human nature to want to play a game to its conclusion, especially if it is a game that is engaging and captures your attention. This is particularly true when the game is a contest that has some level of player interaction. In many cases this makes it very hard to stop and step away from the game.

I am not a fan of solo crash games. Psychologically, it makes me think the casino is rigged and wouldn't allow me to win. I feel like it's more about me vs the casino. In multiplayer mode, I feel like it's more about me vs other players, like a pool where money is distributed from losers to winners. I also agree that the speed of play makes playing crash games solo not a good idea compared to multiplayer. It's a strong reason to avoid playing solo, I think. You can hit the play button whenever you want, you play more, you lose more. The control is yours, but the problem is that most gamblers can't control themselves. Following the crowd when playing multiplayer is inevitable. The multiplier keeps rising, other players cash out to secure their profits, and you feel like it's time for the casino to make money from you now or soon. Then it indirectly forces you to cash out too. But the situation is often different. When all or the majority have already cashed out, there would be one player with a small stake who hasn't cashed out yet. Then we would see the multiplier skyrocket to hundreds or thousands, but in the end, that one player still loses too. I wonder if this is just a coincidence or by design because I often experience that kind of situation in the same session with that kind of player

That is the obvious, it's because of human greed, we can't really stop even if we have won already because we think that we can still stretch that luck and still get some money from casinos. But once we experienced that lost, we tend to go back and try to recoup even if we still have money and that we are still in the plus side of it. And then we don't have control anymore as that losses keeps coming and so we end up losing that money including our capital.

A casino game like crash is purely based on luck whether, you are playing on solo or not. I play crash once in a while, because whenever I play it, I always run at loss without making any profit. That was why I gave it less attention and focused more on sportbet which isn't purely based on luck.
i agree with you that crash is a lucky game to play, which is the very reason why i really dont spend so much time on it... in my own experience, its quite easy to lose track of yourself when you are trying to win back what you have lost previously and eventually lose much more than that... sports betting betting on the other hand, has provided me with much better experiences because atleast I can analyze the team and the players before putting down my money, and ofcourse! winning is not guaranteed either, but I like to have something to rely on rather than luck.

Research on crash players: you may lose more playing alone Why solo crash costs more than multiplayer (same odds, research inside)I consider crash games to be among the most dangerous because, like slots, the player gets hooked on dopamine, and it's very difficult to break the connection. They spend money on online casinos, and at a certain point, they no longer understand why they're doing it. And of course, both solo and group games have their downsides. For example, if a gambler plays alone, they can't take a breather. After every painful loss, like a 1.95x win, they'll feel bad if they were expecting 2.0x and wanted to stay there. I can't imagine what someone would feel in such a situation, but it's clear that this gambler will start a new round in a second.

Still depends on the player I guess some of us wanted to play alone and enjoy the game itself thats why some of the online casinos are preferred by other people right now, because they dont need to interact to other people just by themselves. Just peace. On the other hand is there are some people who would like to play with companions, they want to have the excitement, the chills and the sound of the crowd cheering and getting hype at the same time of course you can hear their voices and murmurs behind you about the possible outcomes and their thoughts so its up to the player. But for me I dont want to have huge pressure so id prefer to play on my own or at least 2-3 companions or with my friends.

This is a simple maths, playing the normal crash game where everyone is subject to place a bet and wait for the time is elapsed before the game starts is way more disciplined than having to bet when ever you want without having a time limitations where you have to wait. This is the same logic behind casino games and sport games just that this one is dealing with 2 casino games with slightly different time limits. With the ability to make constant betting decisions without obstacles make it really for gambler to express their frustration by gambling more and definitely losing more which keeps the process going until they exhaust their bankroll.

Do you play differently when you can see other people's cashouts? Be honest.
Solo players: do you limit rounds, or only money?
I always play with auto-cash out, so other people's cashouts don't affect my play. I'm one of those who like to chase higher multipliers, we even had so many Crash promotions here... hit min x100, with a minimal bet. It's a lot of playing & waiting... After long losing streaks, we need to adjust our play and win something so we can continue to chase x100. And I like Limbo more... it's like the same thing, just faster. It's more interesting to chase over x1000 on Limbo than on Crash...
