Gambling is always played alone, if someone is around, that person cannot play well. I have a close relative who used to gamble and when he was gambling, we were around him and our noise and talk made him lose and when he started playing alone, he came back with a win. Apart from that, gambling with some friends is also a motivation but most people like to play alone so that no one bothers them and they can celebrate their win with fun. According to your research, playing alone transfers the number of cogs to the loser, so you can be okay because losing alone is a lot of people, so people should play with their friends or two people.

I must commend you on that, that was very brave if you to have figured out you were headed for a ditch and turned back before it happened. This isn’t a quality that many gamblers have, and that’s why we see several addicted gamblers. Many of them didn’t even know when they got there, just like you, it was just a normal game they enjoyed, but then it became more demanding, time and money that goes in becomes more unusual than it was meant to be, and rather seeing the big picture, they prefer to pay a blind eye to the signs, believing they’d get a breakthrough from the losses somehow. Kudos to you mate.
After that experience I cut down on how much I blamed addicts, it's hard to know you are doing something wrong when you are getting a false sense of accomplishment from it, we actually have this saying "until e happen to you advice go full your mouth" which is a roundabout way of saying experience is the best teacher.

Online gambling was what made gambling alone popular if not gambling was always a group activity, land based casinos still operate that way as well as some online ones, if you can't gamble well because someone else is there then maybe you are ashamed of gambling and them being there makes you insecure.

There is not point playing crash like a community.

If you want to play crash, play it like you are the only one watching that multiplier goes up and not what others are winning or losing. Because if you make money you are only the one who is going to profit, not the others.

They would rather advice you what to do because doing so does not cost anything and that might be good or bad. Even then its a solo game, not a team like one.

I will say  the most dangerous part about the game is that you can make lots of rounds very fast, so you won’t be able to estimate the losses accurately. Even if I see other players cash out with high multipliers, for me it will be only a normal choice, as this choice does not give me any extra chances to win. It is important to reduce the number of rounds and the sum of money even if I play alone. But in my opinion the most safe choice is to avoid any losses in these games.

Whatever, gambling remains the same and nothing you or anyone does will make a difference, it's a game of trying your luck and it needs to be handled in such a way, risk only what you can afford to lose, this is the only solution to gambling that works all the time, however a game turned out won't affect you negatively, you are surely going to lose, there is no gambler in the world who wouldn't lose money because its about predicting the future, something you have no clue about, the only power you have is limiting your risk.

Playing crash for me is a waste of time and my money also crashing everytime i try. I never hit the 10X or more actually 5x is a great hit for me and most of the time I am a victim of 1.01 crash Sad
That time I realize that I am not enjoying playing that and Im just wasting time and money and decided to do slot.
Never win a single round ? I think it is impossible, unless you mean; every session you play. Personally, I am someone who sometimes enjoys playing crash, even though it is not always profitable. For me, crash games are truly unpredictable, because the results are so random. In fact, I was a victim of the 1.01, and 1.1 crashes in that game, just like you. Wanted a small profit, but instead lost a lot  Undecided

By the way, my friend once had a lucky streak playing crash. He wanted to double his money 5x, and he planned to go all-in on just that one occasion. Believe it or not, he succeeded that time, he managed to get x5, and I think he used up all his luck in that one moment. If I hadn't witnessed it firsthand (only heard stories), I wouldn't have believed it.

From the first post I understood that when you play alone rounds take less time to happen, you bet more often so you might lose more. I have a different vision on whole situation. I tried to explain that partly in my old topic . When you play with someone, you pay attention to their bets and when they cash out, so you eventually copy or think about copying their game strategy, and that might lead to a bigger losses than if you would gamble alone and focus only on your gameplay.

I understand the idea that a solo player can lose more in a crash game than in a multiplayer game due to the fact that one player can't control themselves. They might go quiet when losing, causing them to constantly and quickly press the start button every time. This is uncontrollable and can lead to a complete loss of the deposit.
As for playing with multiple players, it's more about the fact that a crash has both pros and cons for a single player: the pro is that the player gets to rest while waiting for others. The cons are that each player sees the results of the other players and can be envious. For example, if a stranger wins 25x.

Yeah, there are lots of distractions do happen when we gamble in group. People just look at the positive sides alone but when we sum up, the negatives are more than what we consider as positives. For a game which is purely made up on randomness, I could not get what type of research that OP have done there. As the final outcome cannot be predicted then trying to analyse the crash game, will not conclude any pattern.

Overall, crash game cannot be conquered unless until you crack how the random numbers are being generated. Cracking the randomness of one casino will not work on other casinos as different algorithms are implemented in different casinos.

Another point is that most people ignore the pace factor. In solo mode clicking through 300 or 400 fast rounds an hour burns through a bankroll four times faster than a shared table because of velocity, regardless of house edge.
300 rounds at $1 each is already $300 wagered. And with AutoMode, which Sportbet.one also has for Crash, it's pretty easy to lose track of how many rounds you've actually played. The odds haven't changed, you're just placing way more bets in the same amount of time.

I think this relates not only to crash game. In any other game, when nobody is watching or is nearby, people keep on gambling until it is too late to stop. All the addicted gamblers, I think they gamble alone. If there was someone nearby, if that person is not drunk, at some point that person will point that you are spending too much. That person will stimulate to stop, drop and leave, rather than cheer you to continue.

Yes, there is always a risk of losing money through gambling, we use awareness, use strategies or bet using knowledge or skills, winning is not guaranteed, there is always a risk of losing money, so wise and intelligent people always say that gambling is a place to enjoy entertainment, it is not a way to get rich quickly, it is reasonable to limit yourself to gambling only with the money you can afford to lose. Some people have a misconception about gambling, they think that gambling is a means of earning quick money that can help a gambler make money very easily and quickly, which can bring about financial changes. Casino operate gambling in such a way that even if the gambler makes money in the short term, he will face losses in the long term and the casino will profit, the main goal of the casino is to make money from the gambler.

I am this type of a gambler, I don't do group games since my friends are no more living nearby but I have found my solitude in slots games and other games like this.

Even brick games style are welcoming enough for me, I something get busy with RPG games as well if I don't have money to risk on gambling but I can't do this when anyone is around.

I will wait till they take their leave before I go back to my hobby, I can't stand gambling while someone is standing close by my side I will be distracted for sure, and a distracted gambler will lose money easily and will also get nothing in return like fun type of reward.

Research on crash players: you may lose more playing alone

Why solo crash costs more than multiplayer (same odds, research inside)

Crash comes in two formats. In solo crash you get your own round and start the next one whenever you click. In multiplayer crash everyone shares one round, sees a live list of bets and cashouts, and busts at the same moment.

The math is identical in both. The way people play them is not. This post looks at what each format does to your decisions, using a few studies on crash logs and cash-out behaviour plus what I've noticed playing both.

The math in one minute

The chance of reaching your target is roughly 1 divided by the target, minus a small house edge. With a 1% edge: about 50% at 2x, 10% at 10x, 1% at 100x. The crash point is set before the round starts.

What this means:

  • Your target doesn’t change what you pay. Cash out at 1.2x or wait for 100x, and on average you lose about the same 1% of each bet. The target only changes how often you win and how big the swings are.
  • Your speed does. More rounds means more lost on average. At $1 per bet, 100 rounds an hour costs about $1, and 400 rounds costs about $4. Same game, four times the cost.

Losing streaks are normal. Ten losses in a row at 2x sounds rare, but over 1,000 rounds there’s about a 40% chance you’ll see one. A streak doesn’t mean a big win is coming.

Playing alone

Nobody can influence you when you play solo. But nothing slows you down either.
What helps:

  • No one to copy. You don’t see others cash out at 1.3x or wait for 40x, so you stick to your own target.
  • No one watching. Nobody sees how much you bet, so you don’t feel pressure to bet like a big player.
  • Easier to follow a plan. Auto cash-out and a fixed bet feel normal when there’s nothing else going on.

What hurts:

  • Speed. You start every round yourself, so you can play much faster than at a shared table. More rounds means more losses. This is the biggest risk of solo play.
  • Losing track of time. Click, bet, click again. It feels smooth, and that’s why an hour goes by fast. There’s no natural moment to stop.
  • Chasing losses quietly. No one sees your losing streak. It’s easy to raise your bet to win it back when you’re alone.
  • Streaks and quests. They reward you for staying longer. Fine as a bonus, but decide how long you’ll play before you start.

Playing with a crowd

Multiplayer gives you breaks and company. But the crowd slowly starts making your decisions.

What helps:

  • A break every round. You get a few seconds before each round to check your balance and your plan.
  • Same result for everyone. One crash point for all players means nobody can rig a round just for you. For many players, that’s why they trust it.
  • It’s fun together. Chat, big wins and shared busts make it feel like an event.

What hurts:

  • Following the crowd. When many people cash out early, it feels like they know something. They don’t. The crash point was set before anyone clicked.
  • FOMO. You leave at 2x, someone else hits 25x, and next round you wait longer. Players already think big multipliers are more likely than they are. Seeing someone win makes it worse.
  • Shared losses feel smaller. When everyone busts together, it hurts less. So it’s harder to notice when it’s time to stop.
  • Betting to be seen. When everyone can see your bet, it’s tempting to bet bigger than planned.

The cash-out button is part of the psychology

Crash is basically one long cash-out decision, and research on cash-out features in betting Crash is one long decision about when to cash out. Research on cash-out buttons in betting fits it well.

  • An exit button makes people bet more. In two experiments with 240 people, just having a cash-out option made bets up to 35% bigger. People feel safer because they can leave early.
  • Impulsive players cash out less. More impulsive players, and players with more gambling problems, used cash-out less often. In crash, “hold, hold, hold” is a warning sign, not a strategy.
  • People bet more after losing. In data from ethCrash, players raised their bet after a loss 56.6% of the time and lowered it only 3.3% of the time.
  • Auto and manual are different. You pick an auto target calmly before the round. A manual click happens while the number climbs and you’re nervous.

This happens in both formats. Solo makes loss chasing worse, because it’s fast and private. Multiplayer makes holding too long worse, because everyone around you is holding too.

What helps in either format

Make your decisions before the round starts, not during it.

  • Bet the same small share every time. 1-2% of your session money per round is already a lot for crash.
  • Set your loss limit and win goal before the first bet.
  • Use auto cash-out to stick to your plan.
  • Solo: limit rounds, not only money. Take a break every few rounds, because the game won’t make you.
  • Multiplayer: ignore other people’s cashouts. If you can hide the bet list, try one session without it and see if you play differently.
  • Never double up to win back a loss. After 10 losses in a row you’d need to bet 1,023 times your first bet, just to win back 1 unit.

If you switch formats to get around your own limits, that’s a sign to stop, not to change games.
______

Do you play differently when you can see other people's cashouts? Be honest.

Solo players: do you limit rounds, or only money?

Crash games are better enjoyable when you don't limit all your time playing it but play once in a blue moon that way you can enjoy it and not be bored, it's not a game that makes you make much profit because it's quite difficult to win and if you don't gamble responsibly you end up loosing all your money and time at it. It's just another dangerous game to engage in alone and it kills one domapine level towards the game.

Although there are people that loved isolating themselves when it comes to playing games, they don't play in groups so as to keep their wins and not lose concentration while playing but sometimes playing with friends helps because if you are becoming too addicted to the games they can easily talk you out or ask you to stop playing since it's taking turns. Gamble is better understood as a game of trying one's luck so whether you isolate yourself or play in groups winning is no guaranteed.

The matter is they need to have control over themselves not to keep on gambling. They should remember to stop so that will not be too late to do. Otherwise, they will just gives their money without no guarantee to win even small money.

Gamblers who becomes addicted will be difficult to listen the advice to stop. They will stimulate to continue play more and more without thinking they are drain their money.

Crash is one of gambling games that can forget you to stop so controlling yourself strongly will be better. And don't bet too much more than you can because the losses will gives you pain in the head.

I think the issue isn't really about crash games specifically, but rather about the psychology of players in any form of gambling. A player can become so consumed by the thrill a feeling that compels them to keep playing, raising the stakes each time that eventually, they feel an urge to taste the "forbidden fruit" and wager everything they have in their account. I believe millions of players have gone down this path. it’s a fairly standard trajectory for anyone who has ever toyed with the idea of pushing things further. Before taking that step, it’s worth considering what might happen if you end up losing absolutely everything.

This is a lie, how can I lose more playing alone? I prefer playing any games alone, either on home consoles or even mobile games, do you know that not all games have two players available ?

You will only need someone next to you if the game you are playing requires two players or two player option is available, what are you going to be doing? Talking with someone while you are gambling? You will be distracted.

If you want someone to stop you from gambling overtime it's your problem, your type of person shouldn't be gambling online at all because you can't control yourself.

After that experience I cut down on how much I blamed addicts, it's hard to know you are doing something wrong when you are getting a false sense of accomplishment from it, we actually have this saying "until e happen to you advice go full your mouth" which is a roundabout way of saying experience is the best teacher.
That’s typically what I always say, a lot of folks who ended up getting addicted didn’t really plan to get there. Several of them though they were merely just having fun and enjoying the game, but little did they know they were actually giving more than they were meant to, and turning back at this point isn’t usually that easy especially since the gambler doesn’t even know or realize he’s doing anything wrong.
