Vega.bet - Account blocked, $909 withheld

What happened:

I registered at Vega.bet on November 3, 2026, deposited $355 and placed just 6 bets (3 basketball and 3 tennis). I won 5 out of 6, bringing my balance to $909.05.

I requested a withdrawal, and less than an hour later my account was blocked.

Support claimed I had exploited a "weak line" on Canada vs Norway and that my betting limits were reduced on October 21, 2026.

The problem is that I only registered on November 3, and I never placed any bets on Canada vs Norway. How could they have restricted my account 13 days before I even signed up?

I pointed this out to support, but they're ignoring my questions.

Did they perhaps block the wrong account? I mean, why would they say that you were limited on October 21? They mentioned that other recent registered account has the same betting pattern as you, are they perhaps saying that one or some of those accounts are yours? They really should clarify why they said you were limited on October 21.

Regarding the screenshot of your betting history, out of curiosity, why blur out the names of the athletes playing?

If I understand well what is said in the screenshot. They are probably claiming that you have multiple accounts and based on their observation there is someone who created an account/accounts and tried to do some "weak line" exploits and got his bets limited back on 21 October and they are probably linking your current account to that.

I've never had an account with them before. I actually found vega.bet through their bitcointalk thread.

And honestly, I didn't even know they offered odds on U17 women's football, let alone that the U17 Women's World Cup was going on right now lol.

Right now would be a good time to first establish why they are linking you to other accounts you might not know about. For example did you use any VPN service to sign up or sign in onto your account?
Have used public WiFi to access your accounts? Do you share your computer with family members etc

Otherwise it's really hard to get into the bottom of this claims without Vegabet sharing their findings and this could be possible with an independent mediator but most of them are not willing to mediate on betting related disputes.

Have you initially made account there or someone around you uses your phone to make account or perhaps you guys shares the same network?
Most time when casino quickly block someone from their site it's assumed that either you had account their previous or your are sharing same network with someone who had account there before. I do not how this issue would be resolved but I may like to mention holydarkness to know if he may assist you trying to find out but there is no guarantee that he would solved it 100%. Just your luck with him.

I've only ever had one account at Vega.bet, which I created on November 3.

From what I can tell, they haven't actually accused me of anything. They just copy-pasted some internal "risk management" decision about cutting the betting limits of another player that has nothing to do with me.

Before involving anyone else, I'd like to hear directly from the casino why they blocked my account.

OP, by any chance, have you informed their representative by PM that you raised formal complaint by this scam accusation? The other side have the right to know and given chance to defend themselves regarding [and for each] open scam accusation against them.

No, I haven't sent them a PM, but I've just posted in their official thread and tagged their representative with a link to my complaint. They should be aware of it now.

Or did you try to send another support message from the beginning explaining you did not bet in that match with a screenshot to your bet history to prove?

No, I haven't sent them a PM, but I've just posted in their official thread and tagged their representative with a link to my complaint. They should be aware of it now.

Saw your post on the ANN thread and i PMed the vegabet's representative regarding this case. They're quite active, so hopefully they'll check this thread later today and provide some clarification since this looks like a misunderstanding imo or whatever their reason is.

I don't understand why the sportsbooks offer odds where the players won't be able to place bets. It's like a trap for the players. The sportsbook are offering the odds, and if a player place a bet on that game, they will be accused of abusing the weak line and then get blocked or limited. I don't understand the intension of doing this shit. If I were the operator, I would simply remove these weak lines markets instead of blocking players for placing a bet.

As for vega.bet, they have two running campaigns here and they are spending a good amount of money every week to promote their casino here. So, I don't think they would ruin their reputation for such amount. So, I have a reason to believe that Vega bet has their side of the story.

No, that was the only response I ever got from the casino. I sent several follow-up messages explaining that I never bet on Canada vs Norway and that I only registered on November 3, but they never replied.
