What is Pinch?Pinch is its own EVM-compatible blockchain, secured by Ethash Proof of Work. PINCH is the native coin. It is issued only through mining: there was no premine and no genesis allocation. Next to plain transfers, the chain has a built-in escrow contract (PinchDeals) for agreements between two parties, with deadlines, settlements and public ratings.
Specifications- Algorithm: Ethash (standard Ethereum Ethash, DAG about 1 GB today)
- Chain ID: 5261646 (0x50494e)
- Block reward: 50 PINCH, halving every 2,100,000 blocks
- Maximum scheduled supply: 210,000,000 PINCH
- Client: core-geth 1.13.0 with the published PINCH-STAKE-1 patch (1.13.0-pinch.3)
- Genesis hash: 0xc8d0b22af513e1fea5ddc2c18c13f833310d23e2190f9291a64cecf13e78c9a2

Mining rule (PINCH-STAKE-1, from block 20,000)Until block 20,000 any address can mine. From block 20,000 a block is valid only if its reward address holds at least the threshold T: 0.25% of the scheduled supply so far, capped at 25,000 PINCH (2,500 PINCH at block 20,000, 12,500 at block 100,000, 25,000 from block 200,000). The reward depends on the balance of the reward address:
- T or more: 50% of the scheduled reward
- 4 x T or more: 60%
- 8 x T or more: 75%
- 20 x T or more: 100%
Reduced rewards are never minted, so issuance stays within the 210M schedule. Full specification:
PINCH_STAKE_SPEC.mdHow to mine- CPU: download the miner package (Windows, macOS, Linux), enter your reward address, start. The package downloads the node and checks its SHA-256 hash. Mining guide
- GPU: start the node with --gpu and connect a getwork Ethash miner such as ethminer to http://127.0.0.1:9560. GPU mining guide
Mining is solo: each block you find pays your own address. There is no pool yet.
WalletsAny EVM wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet and others). Add the network with one click on the
network page.
wPINCH on BaseA bridge locks native PINCH in a vault on Pinch Mainnet and issues wPINCH on Base. The vault and the wPINCH contract are both at 0xcd8EEa09b3647D726F45F57EA2A328BFb52ACe08 on their networks. Tokens named PINCH at other addresses are not related. Always check addresses on
pinch.network.
TransparencyThe network started in early November 2026. Until this announcement, every block was mined by the founder's two computers, so the founder holds nearly all PINCH mined so far (about 581,000 PINCH at block 11,600). 100,000 PINCH of it is locked in the bridge vault and provides the wPINCH liquidity on Base. Current network hashrate is very low because only CPUs have mined so far. Everything above can be checked in the
explorer.
Verify, don't trustNode binaries, the consensus patch, the genesis file and checksums are on the
Downloads page. Each node checks the chain ID and genesis hash.
