Your title almost made me thought you're writing about how gambling celebrates prematurely when their whole games hasn't been yet decided, but just because it's only one game left on the slip they quickly start celebrating that nothing can go wrong now.

Let me ask you guys, have you ever experienced winning most of your bets but ended up losing money because you got greedy, so for example out of 10 games you win 6 of them and still lose in the end, and you conclude that you lost because it's really hard to win in sports betting but what we don't realize is that if we manage our bankroll correctly that 60% win rate could result in profit as we only need around 52.4% to break even at 1.91 odds.
The gambler couldn't have known that the 6 games of the 10 legs would play and 4 wouldn't. In the first place, we can never be sure what the outcome of the games we play would be. The gambler could have decided to drop a few games to reduce his risk from 10 games to 6, but come to think of, have you thought about the huge possibility of the gambler dropping those games that would have played and keeping the games that makes him lose the bet?

We have all had different shades of these experiences as sport bettors and they don't just happen because we didn't try to avoid it but because we can't for sure know what each game outcome in our whole bet would become, we just bet base on luck to win after doing our little effort of analysis.

I'm happy for you if this strategy is working for you...

Why haven't you been signature banned yet? You've earned another neutral tag from me due to your shitposting. Let's see if you can get it (if you bother to come back to this thread):

In sports betting, this is actually where I lose most of my money, I just realized it recently, or let's say I finally admitted that one of my biggest weaknesses and the reason why I can't win consistently is because of poor bankroll management.

Even though 52.4% strike rate at odds of 1.91 should yield profit. But gambler often end up wiping out their entire bankroll by placing high stake bet driven by overconfidence and emotional impulse.

That’s what usually happens. At poker tables, it’s common to see a fish who gets lucky, doubles his stack, and then moves up in stakes—and keeps doing the same thing until his luck runs out. What the OP describes isn’t quite that extreme, but it shows a similar pattern: after having good results in sports betting, they start betting bigger without sticking to their bankroll. As a result, even though they have more wins than losses, if the losses come from bigger bets, they end up with a net loss in their bankroll.

I can never be in that shoes of gamblers who have time to track their gambling history, I don't do it and I will never do it because I don't have any reasons to do so, my money spent on gambling isn't worth bringing out a calculator and pen for.

It's such a free breeze when you are risking small money on gambling, while the world is locked on hitting a jackpot or winning some massive amount of money I don't have such dream as a gambler.

I am not here to discourage gamblers but I am sure that a door that's opened for someone might be opened for them only, that same opened door might be closed for you, if someone wins big on gambling it might never be same for you.

What usually happens is that, instead of using the same stake size for every bet, if you win two or three bets, you feel you’re on a winning streak, you get overconfident and increase your stake. If you then lose, this explains why, despite winning more bets overall, you end up making a loss – because you’d staked more on the bets you lost. You should always bet the same amount until your bankroll has grown enough to allow you to increase your stake size. The psychological aspect is also important, as qwertyup23 points out. Chasing your losses can lead to disastrous sessions.

Greed has been the reason why some of us gamblers cannot end up in profit even after winning most of our bets. We feel increasing our stake can make us win more, more especially if we are lucky to record few wins at the beginning. This is what most of us gamblers suffer including me. Countless times I have won bets, then use the same amount of money to bet again as rollover bet, and the the pattern has always failed. Managing your bankroll plays an important role in gambling because it eliminates greed and encourage responsible gambling.

Managing your bankroll plays an important role in gambling because it eliminates greed and encourage responsible gambling.

That's true but sometimes it's also a problem since being disciplined in managing our bankroll can also become boring. So the moment we experience that, we tend to look for more excitement, without realizing that we are already making stupid decisions.

So this is my point, we can never win consistently in sports betting if we don't have a working strategy, professional gamblers can because they have one, while we cannot because we feel gambling is just for fun, so we don't take it seriously by learning from our mistakes to improve.
