Data from the report states that 94.4% of Filipino internet users aged 16 and above used an AI tool in the past month, ranking the country fifth among the 53 nations ranked – and above the worldwide figure of 85.2%. More than half (54.6%) used ChatGPT compared with 34.7% worldwide, the highest rate of any Asia-Pacific market. Clearly, AI is already part of everyday online life for most Filipino internet users.
“ChatGPT” was the Filipinos’ third most-searched term on Google, while “AI” ranked eighth and “Gemini” thirteenth, implying a growing interest in trying and learning more about these AI platforms.

Bad news kasi parang heavily relying tayo sa AI, siguro mga estudyante karamihan o kahit siguro sinong tao na nagtatanong sa AI sa atin. Kung sabagay mga nakakausap ko ay aware sa AI technology na talaga kaya hindi ako nagtataka.
Pero ganun pa man, parang nasa 50/50 parin ako at sana wag tayong umasa sa kakatanong kay ChatGPT.
