The market always presents opportunities across various tokens, but capital is not infinite, making it risky to blindly place trust in previously underperforming projects. Therefore, I maintain a cautious approach by dedicating a minimum of 50% of total capital to BTC, while allocating the remaining 50% carefully to altcoins, starting with ETH and SOL.

Even so, I continue to track several potential older projects recently highlighted in discussions, such as Chainlink, NEAR, and PancakeSwap. Their underperformance in the 2025 cycle could very well represent a long-term accumulation phase to prepare for a major move in the 2029 cycle if targeted by whales. All definitive answers will likely require waiting a few more years to be fully confirmed.

Ripple all-time high before 2024/2025 was $260. Its all-time high is $294. That is just 1.13x increase which is small and disappointing. But there is the fact that some people invested on the coin at lower price as it fell to $8. But a coin that fell from $260 to $8, can you think of how someone that invested in it at higher price like $200 will think when it fell below $25.

This pancakeswap token you mentioned is already dead, I know that some investors had great expectations on the project and bought some of the coins at its all time high of $43.96 since 2021 but the token didn't even move a bit last year when Bitcoin price was booming. If you consider buying the token, it's more like gambling because I don't see any development from the team that will make the token to feel alive again.

I am only picking altcoins like ETH, Sol, and Bnb, which I have more confident in their probability of generating profit than other shitcoin.

Bitcoin is the coin i prioritise in my portfolio but i do not intend selling it in the 2029 bullrun, so the token i have chosen for my portfolio to get ready for my portfolio for the 2029 bullrun is aster. The token is currently trading at $0.6827 at Binance exchange, i believe it will get to $2 or $3 in the 2029 bullrun. I am currently accumulating the token with dollar cost averaging (DCA) in order to position myself and get ready for the 2029 bullrun. I will never invest on old projects that failed in the 2025 bullrun because they would likely fail in the 2029 bullrun.

First of all, I don’t have a specific target like 2029. Of course, I wouldn’t make the mistake of saying this market is completely dead, but I think we need clear data to support a specific date...

When we go to a project’s Telegram channels, we see many investors asking about prices. Group admins say prices have nothing to do with the project, but we all know they’re the ones setting the prices. What I’m trying to say is that if a project’s management has made good money in the market, it can make a comeback in the next cycle even if it failed in the past. Predicting which coin got pumped next is hard and you could never know. I think you have bigger chance not missing out on a pump if you don't rotate your portfolio too often. Ethereum and Solana was pretty weak in the 2025 bullrun but it's more reason for me to keep holding in for the upcoming bullrun. The others that have risen very high are already overvalued.

Ethereum, definitely make up big share of my portfolio for future bullrun. As the market matured, I don't believe random coins that failed in 2025 could pump except in a rare chance. I don't wanna bet on that small odd.

There has not been any altseason ever since 2017.

Even ETH and XRP only surpassed ATH quite modestly and unconvincingly,

ETH ATH was 0.15BTC and in 2021 the centralized authority spent millions of dollars trying to pump this shitcoin but only managed to get it to 0.08BTC and today it is sitting at barely 0.03BTC and continues to dump.

Same with the other shitcoin XRP, its ATH was 24,500 sat in 2017 and in 2021 despite all the attempts to pump this shitcoin the centralized authority could only manage to get it pumped to 4,200 sats. And today it still continues dumping and is currently sitting at 1500 sats

Therefore, I maintain a cautious approach by dedicating a minimum of 50% of total capital to BTC, while allocating the remaining 50% carefully to altcoins, starting with ETH and SOL.

The problem with this strategy is that history has proven that all altcoins dump against bitcoin which means long term bag-holding of altcoins is a big mistake that only leads to more losses.

I already gave you ETH stats which is dumping from 0.15BTC to 0.03BTC which is a -80% dump.
SOL is the same. The ATH was 0.0046 and today it is sitting at 0.001BTC which is a similar -80% dump (-78%).

Privacy coins have increased quite drastically over the past 1 year, take for example Zcash and Monero the graph shows these tokens rising, there may be other reasons people are switching to these coins so they are not easy to track, while Litecoin is experiencing a steady decline.

I have Hyperliquid (HYPE) in my mind, but I haven’t spent a single cent on it yet. Given everything that has happened since its launch, I see a future in $HYPE, which makes me want to invest, I believe $HYPE is one of the win solutions for 2029.

I have regrets with the $ HYPE coin that sold too fast in the price range of $30 - $35 now its price has gone up 3x from our initial purchase, to be honest at this time it is still not buying despite having confidence HYPE can be above $100 later later.

The last bull run didn't live up to the expectations of previous bull run hypes, we expected more even from their king which is Bitcoin but the bull run didn't skyrocket to expectations so henceforth for me I'll be very cautious about high expectations. As for altcoins if I'm to make my pick for the ones that I feel can reach ATH and give investors something to smile home in the next bull run I think that these top three that you mentioned would be at most cautious investors top buys. There are too many dead coins and if you are not willing to risk your funds on top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB and Solana you should know that you're making a big gamble.

Just my 2 cents, altcoin are high risk and sometimes it's closer to gambling than investing. So DYOR, and don't just follow crowd or copy someone else pick.

Old coin or new coin doesn't matter , only how much real potential it's got right now.

Many people have regretted selling too early, I first knew about Hyperliquid (HYPE) from a fellow trader, who also ended up regretting his decision to sell off his holdings. IMO, it's still possible for Hyperliquid (HYPE) to reach above $100, as that would also serve as a price milestone & ATH for Hyperliquid (HYPE).

It is not bad to keep 50% in Bitcoin but it would be better if you focus more on Bitcoin. Remember that any altcoin is very risky so you should invest less money here. But it is a personal choice, if someone takes high risk then they can focus more on altcoins. In my case I try to keep 90% in Bitcoin and the remaining 10% is invested in various altcoins.

Sir, the Ripple you are talking about, is it XRP or you another project? I have not seen any price tracking data that said Ripple got to $294, but rather the all time high of XRP according to CoinMarketCap was $3.84 in january 4, 2018, .

In 2025, any old coins that really has a great ecosystem were supposed to pump but if it never did, that means it won't ever reach another all time high. Some altcoins won't ever reach another all time high after the first ATH when it was listed on the exchange. I won't invest in older project that their native coin failed to pump in 2025.

As for the previous bull season that you are talking about, there were still good projects then, the hype for altcoins was still big but right now, scam projects has dominated the altcoin market and investors are not really buying altcoins the way they did in the past. I still remember a project that made $1.68 billion in their ICO in 2021 and many other projects then that made millions of dollars in ICO, but I don't think there are many projects now that is making such massive amount from ICO, maybe only few.

So, you don't expect last bull run to be the same as previous ones. As for Bitcoin, I don't know the price you had expected it to reach but Bitcoin did massively well, it even broke its previous all time high before the last halving.
