Today, we’re celebrating Electrum’s anniversary. Fifteen years ago, bitcoiners got this wonderful wallet. To mark the occasion, community have an important new release.
15th Anniversary Edition release, namely
4.8.4 is focused mainly on Lightning session, and prevents disconnect from a channel peer due to bad incoming onion message. Now such messages are handled safely and ignored for now.
There are also fixes for old SEED
(i.e relevant to Electrum versions before 2.0)restoration, slow transaction calculations, wallet freezing, crashes, and Android interface issues.
