Interesting thought. Is this to say that the worst people do the best and the best people do the worst? Thomas Edison was a terrible person yet insanely rich. Same goes for Bill Gates. Opportunists are what we call them but yeah. Very interesting thought.

Algae are a very large and diverse group of simple, typically autotrophic organisms, ranging from unicellular to multicellular forms, such as the giant kelp, that may grow up to 50 meters in length.

What you call "scum" might be feeding young wildlife.  Smiley

Does make one wonder, doesn't it?

Nevertheless Edison lit our homes for over 100 years, not be cause he actually invented the light bulb but rather because he invented one that worked.

Yes, Edison was a creepy bastard so I am not sure how one deals with that.

Werner Von Braun got the USA into space but was a former officer in the Allgemeine SS.

A madman, genius or pure scientist?

I opt for the latter as for Edison.

My $.02.

Wink

P.S.:

By the way, as far as Edison there is evidence was horribly abused as a child because of his partial deafness, which he later atributed to something else.

I dunno.

My $.02.

The thing with Edison was it wasn't his invention. But everyone think it was.

History is often as perceived or understood by the masses.

Real history is a quite different thing.

The thing Edison was good at was taking an idea and making it work, where others had failed.

I know this is offtopic , but why not change your signature to "Just my 0.02$" and stop writing that after each post Tongue

No longer active on bitcointalk, however, you can still reach me via PMs if needed.
