He can't be this dumb? The trust system is broken but this will do nothing to the profiles, since all those people leaving trust are not in the default or anyone's trust since most are new accounts. So basically just a lot of red which most people don't even read if they don't have a reason too.

Sounds a little fishy and messy honestly.
He should have had the positive feedback posted to accounts other than his  own so it is less biased.
Obviously there is vested interest in getting the bribed positive votes for his  own accounts which ruins the impartial-ness of this "experiment".
