I'm not clear on how to run multiple miners. When I run more than one instance of phoenix pointed at the provided address, my hash rate drops. Currently trying to run three, soon to be four.
Edit: Actually, it appears that I got the expected hash rate after starting my first instance. But then when I restarted all three instances, the hash rate had dropped. Going back to just the one instance results in the same lowered hash rate (about half of expected), so it's possible that the correlation with the extra instances was just a coincidence. When I point my instances back at arsbitcoin pool, the hash rate returns to the expected rate. Disregard. I was making a stupid.

So I clicked "Request Payout" a few days ago, clicked "OK" in the box that asked me to confirm, and then... nothing happened. Pending payout is still 0BTC, and no coins have been deposited at my address.
Is this normal? I'm okay with the payout process being manual for now; I'm just getting the vibe that this is some kind of control panel bug rather than being a case of waiting for the pool operator to send me my payment.

If there is something that will make Bitcoin succeed, it is growth of utility - greater quantity and variety of goods and services offered for BTC. If there is something that will make Bitcoin fail, it is the prevalence of users convinced that BTC is a magic box that will turn them into millionaires, and of the con-artists who have followed them here to devour them.

Is there a calculator somewhere that shows the estimated 100% PPS amount with the current difficulty?
50/ difficulty*your shares=PPS rate ^ * 1.05 = Goat's rate ?

I can only send 10 PMs an hour:( But right now we are holding off on users under 500 MHash/S until we can get a new server up. Part of our high reject rate is due to too many connects. Thanks. 750MH/s is higher than 500 =P

Something is wrong. I tried to send you a payout and I as an admin can not do it either, the server guy is looking into this second. Update before I even post, he was able to get it to work, let me know if this happens again as this is the first time. Payment on the way. I also just clicked the "request payout" and then "Ok" in the popup, and then nothing changed. I understand the payouts are currently being processed manually, but there's no feedback on the stats screen to confirm that the "request" was actually "sent", so I have no idea if it worked or not.

there are times i have had to click the button a time or two to get it to work.
check for it to show up as pending in the list. it should be right up top.
also note, he only allows for 2 payouts per day.

Aha! Yup, clicked a few more times and finally got the feedback I was expecting. also note, he only allows for 2 payouts per day.
That strikes me as very generous on his part, considering he's doing it manually for now.

Which BIP (16/17/none) is this pool voting for?

Right now I am pretty sure none. Changing the bitcoin rules scares the shit out of me, esp if I (and most people) do not understand it.
Next time there is a vote they should tell the votes what they want to change and why.
I'm not voting because I am anti the change, I am not voting because I am ignorant.
Sounds like a sane approach to me. Thanks

I thought this pool sold hashing power, how can it be voting if it isn't generating its own blocks?
