So what’s the target you’ll (begin to) sell at? 3, 4 or 5 digits? Grin

As for me, I'll probably sell a bit at around $40-$50.

IM pretty sure the vast majority of bitcoins are not on the market today, instead they are being hoarded.  Its the reason bitcoin is above $0.1.
Speaking for myself, I have no intention of selling in the next year or two, regardless of price. If it goes to $100 or back to $0.1, no matter. I will use my bitcoins now and then, and then just replenish my stock. I suspect a lot of people are like me.

+1 despite the fact that you ragged me hard for being a hoarder as well.

but miscreanity is right, the stock and flow model is valid.

i see Bitcoin as a tremendous store of value but hopefully a currency for major commerce.  one day.

+1 I am doing the same thing...keeping my bits.  if i spend any, it'll be on goods and services, not buying US dollars.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

See, this is whats gonna drive us down to the Satoshi level.  and that's neither a good nor a bad thing.  it just is based on the fundamentals of demand usage.

Everyone else will be dealing in those units and the early adopters will be sitting pretty.

As i see it, this is where the real "Greatest Transfer of Wealth the World has ever Seen" is going to take place; not gold or silver.
