Starting from the Coin Desk article there is this test site :
http://filippo.io/Heartbleed/

Here are my test results :
(list from bitcoinwisdom)

All good, btc-e.com:443 seems not affected!
All good, cavirtex.com:443 seems not affected!
All good, bitcoin.de:443 seems not affected!
All good, coinbase.com:443 seems not affected!
All good, kraken.com:443 seems not affected!
All good, bitfinex.com:443 seems not affected!
All good, bter.com:443 seems not affected!

bitstamp.net:443 IS VULNERABLE
btcchina.com:443 IS VULNERABLE
okcoin.com:443 IS VULNERABLE
cryptsy.com:443 IS VULNERABLE

The test site did error with a couple of sites, namely huobi.com and campbx.com

A bit more detail lifted from the article for the lazy :
Quote
Exploiting Heartbleed, an attacker could access the RAM of affected systems, allowing them to see up to 64 kilobytes of data at a time – enough to build up enough knowledge to access a system’s secret keys. Those keys are used to encrypt and decrypt sensitive traffic and identify service providers.

IF YOU WANT TO CONTRIBUTE PLEASE WRITE CAPS-ALL ONLY AS THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE!

Bitstamp ‏@Bitstamp 24 Min.

#Bitstamp turns off its accregistration, login & all virtual currency withdrawal functions as a precaution following recent OpenSSL news.
Also the trading is still working and there is no huge dump. So obviously the API users (such as me) dont give a fuck.
Oh and btw nice unbiased poll as usually ^^

THAT IS ACTUALLY A GOOD AND SCARY POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CUSTOMERS WILL LIKELY SUE AND STAMP WILL BE FORCED TO CLOSE DOWN AND WITH CHINA GONE ONLY BTC-E IS LEFT!!!!!!! I CAN SMELL WALL STREET MONEY ENTERING ANY SECOND NOW!!!!

I DON´T THINK THAT BITSTAMP HAS ENOUGH MONEY TO SETTLE THIS DOWN IF THOUSANDS OF CUSTOMERS WILL SUE THEM!

Uh i just got fonzied, i feel quite honored Grin Anyway i am holding just like throughout all the last days. Way too less volume to make decent trades and also no clear trend on a larger scale. Anyway:
Hazek has addressed Bitstamps vunerability in the Bistamp thread.

In summary he says that the reason they come up as vunerable is most likely due to their anti DDoS provider as they have patched their back end. Logins as well as withdraws disabled until they confirm.

All major banking sites are going down as we speak, convert fiat to BTC while you still can, tomorrow could be too late, only bitcoin is safe because of SSL bug.

I decided to no longer use a signature, because people were trolling me about it.

Today I actually needed to use bitcoin for non-speculative purposes (sending money abroad) and this shit happens.  Undecided

so send it...

or do you herp keep all your BTC at an exchange?

Yes, but luckily they pay in BTC, would have been stupid standing there with all FIAT now that the banking ponzi comes crashing down because of SSL bug.

Since you obviously know my employer... Can I ask who yours is? For spreading all these false FUD posts of yours?

Once again people rather choose to question my personality instead of facing and dsicussing the facts that right now a lot of the exchanges are having problems. How will you feel if Bitcoin goes down to 100$ and you can´t sell because it´s not possible to login at Bitstamp?

Why would you sell your BTC for worthless FIAT? All the major banking sites are crashing because of SSL bug  Huh

Only bitcoin is unaffected and 100% secure.
