Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

bumping hoping to make a  3rd rig soon i got motherboard and power supply just looking to get a few 5970s thats what the loan is i currently mine at 3800 mh so that is about 100 btc a month after getting the next 2 5970 i will be mining at 5450 mh or 143 btc a month so i am able to pay back can also put up my glbse stocks at collateral if anyone wants
