Just wanted to let you know that we've updated our front page. We added some more statistics and made it a bit more friendly for new as well as our existing users. Hope you like the update.
Regarding the issues with mining software not being able to get work from NiceHash in some cases. As nicehashdev already explained in his post it's an annoying bug in the cg/sgminer mining software. Despite thorough testing we haven't identified this issue in the beta phase and I'm really sorry for you to face those issues now when we're in production. But rest assure that we're working hard to mitigate these issues in the NiceHash system itself until we provide patches for cg/sgminer sources and provide you with patched windows and linux binaries. This bug doesn't affect all version and all users and appears only in some circumstances. Thanks for understanding!
There are a couple of things you can do to mitigate these issues: - monitor your cg/sgminer mining software and automate restarts when idling (this is recommended anyway, even you're note using NiceHash); - and there is a simple way to bypass this issue if you just set you prices a bit lower (not forcing you to sell beyond your earining expectaions by any means, of course) and thus keep your miner on NiceHash for longer intervals ... keep in mind that even multipools are time-varying in profitability quite a bit so you might not get expected higher profits with high-frequency switching between NiceHash and your backup pool, even if switching would work without the mentioned issues in some cases.
Thanks for using NiceHash.com!
i have tried lowering the price on the settings , it doesn't help so that is not the issue , for now i just keep an eye on it and restart the miner as needed in addition to the automatic scrypt i have to have miner reboot when its idling too long, but it does take alot of work to keep mining here so i am happy something is being done to fix this bug.

Who is the hash provider? You? Also whats the minimum and maximum hash power? And whats your refunds policy? Say rig was offline or hash less then promised.

Hi, been mining with your pool for a few days and getting some nice payouts Can you clarify how to configure scrypt for backup pools though? Can we just use the --failover-only command as with cgminer?

Everyone who has a mining rig can be hash provider. There are no limits of minimum and maximum hash power. As a buyer, you only pay for valid (accepted) shares. If rig is down, it sends no shares -> you pay nothing. If rig is underperforming, it sends less shares -> you pay less. Simple as that. Now it is more than 30 already. How is this service not 10GH already Not many miners see the full potential and all benefits yet.

I still can't decide if nicehash timed it perfectly to start the site or they somehow rigged the whole thing with shitcoin pumping and whatnot

More providers are needed! We're constantly at 10+ BTC/GH/Day with peaks reaching 20 BTC/GH/Day!

Where are you from? Asia? Question for the dev

Miners are gradually assigned to better paying orders. We decided to go with gradual assignation, because quick one would be causing too much disconnects and less work performed, because buyers usually do create new orders and cancel them a lot in short period of times. With slow gradual assignation, the factor of disconnects is minimal. When re-assignation happens, miners from lowest paying orders are assigned to best paying orders. On long term run, this is fair distribution and makes all miners earn approximately same amount. You can manually give your miner best paying order, if you restart your miner, because system always assigns new connecting miner to best paying order. Do not forget about speed limitations. If order is 0.9-1.2 x of limited speed, it will be skipped and assigned to next best paying.
