Bummer.  There are still some strange issues going on with my AntMiner S1s working against the pool with "price" thresholds.

I just came home and found my two test AntMiner S1s hung ... they *said* the NiceHash pool was alive ... but they were NOT mining it ... and they were NOT mining my backup pools.

Both were mining earlier in the day, and then when the 0.06 contracts expired, they fell back to the backup pools.  That is where they were when I left the house.  I come home and realized they were in some strange state ... not mining NiceHash nor the backup pools.

I had to restart the miners, and then they immediately jumped back to the backup pools as there are no 0.06 contracts.

Something is broken ...

ckolivas informed me, that idlebug is fixed in latest cgminer. Do you use latest cgminer?

I also wrote to Kano again with a private message to inquire about the fix.  I asked if he was aware of the fix done by ckolivas, and if he had brought that into his fork.

thanx for info.
[23:58:27] Stratum from stratum.nicehash.com requested work restart

This is normal, nothing to worry about.

Now it is really time to go get some x11 - paying 6.5 BTC/GH/day, way more than scrypt even.

for x11, price per GH is for x11 hashrate or scrypt hashrate?

Hello admin NiceHash!
Tell, whether it is possible to use some workers with different difficulty (and with different ip-address)? As on other pools for example: 1BLUijX8cM3EhDHtqfTbHCi12JDwgfwCM4.1 or 1BLUijX8cM3EhDHtqfTbHCi12JDwgfwCM4_2 ?

I'm using ccminer v1.0 for x11. I'm seeing hash <= target but it doesn't seem like that share is getting submitted? I don't see any yay! for them. Any idea what's up with this?

Greatwolf, I cant get ccminer to work with the x11 pool or cudaminer to work with the scrypt-n pool. I don't believe they have have the extranonce stuff programmed into it. Sadly this leaves out Nvidia cards from Nicehash outside the Scrypt pool.

I am running it with -D so it's spitting debug info out. I do see a parameter extranonce2 in there -- is that not being handled properly by ccminer? As a sidenote, ccminer works just fine for me on trademybits.com when mining x11 there.

You are throwing hash into the wind. No Yays = no accepted shares. So far nicehash is the only pool using the extranonce that I know of this is why it hasn't been a problem up to now for most users. Hopefully it will be fixed at somepoint in ccminer.

seems to be working fine. I am using latest sgminer-sph. Though the 5 minute accepted speed varies in great amounts, the round speed seems to be correct.

Providers/Sellers

Good news! We've released patched and optimized versions of sph-miner for X11. You can download it here:

https://www.nicehash.com/software/#sph-miner

We are aware that some mining software doesn't yet support some advanced features utilized by NiceHash, therefor we've written guidelines for mining software developers:

https://www.nicehash.com/software/#devs

Please, miners, step together and ask your mining software provider (if you're using software, that hasn't yet been patched) to incorporate these patches into their software. These are really simple and small patches, no hard work is needed to implement.

Thanks for using NiceHash and we all wish you nice hashing!

Nicehash,

How your system selects who mine expensive contracts and who mine cheap??
I was mining for a 24 hours, and during this period price were different, but never the top one...
currently there are SIX orders with price>2 but my miner stopped because I have p=2.0 set up.

??

"darkcoin" is the kernel, not the algo.

"weighted average price"
so basically I can add order with price 0.1 and it will have same priority as 4.0 price?
