Impossible to tell, btc could potentially reach $10000 within the next 5 years assuming there is mainstream adoption by that time.
Think we've still got a way to go before the average guy on the street uses btc on a regular basis.

Forget the $1m & $100,000 predictions, what's everyone's opinion on when bitcoin will hit $10,000?
I guess we'll his $10k at the end of 2015 or early 2016! And then everyone'll be rich! Well, except for the people who panicked and sold their stash at incredibly low prices (aka _now_) That's quite a short time, but that would be great if the price rises in late 2015 or even late 2016. Buy and hold, thats for sure. I think he could be right... I mean if we go to $3000 with the next bubble, it may takes us only one more to achieve a $10k coin. I think that prediction may not be that off, after all! But as I see it, every day that passes there's more and more companies that allow the use of bitcoins. Soon the demand will be higher and the price will jump, prob, but I think late 2015 is just too soon, more like late 2016, but we can just wait and see. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

Amazon had a revenue of $74 Billion in 2013 and Dell was $56 Billion. Dell is NOT small. Dell already started accepting Bitcoins and it didn't make any impact on BTC price. |

Only merchants acceptance isn't gonna do any good to Price, Its the buyers who will, if the buyers start buying products using btc that will create the balance and a price rise. |

We could very well be in the future. It's still the most used crypto out there, so probably the best bet is on bitcoin. It depends on the adoption rate of course. But.. I cannot make any prediction what the price will be in 2016.. or 2020. |

True. It is not a certainty that bitcoin will get mass adoption, world domination and the price goes up 100 times. But most of the people here on bitcointalk expect these events to happen for sure. |
