The block halving is a well known feature of bitcoins, I don't think it will have a big impact with the value. |

The block halving is a well known feature of bitcoins, I don't think it will have a big impact with the value. +1. Also, by the time of next block halving, we will already have a total of 15,750,000 btc generated. The drop of block reward from 25 to 12.5 btc may not have a big effect on the supply side. |

Eventually, but it is not sure ... It might go down until 300$. There is a nice support at around $420-$430, and I will be surprised to see it going down to $300 this year unless another flash crash happens. |

In two years I've seen 200x, and 20x is a lot? HA! Maybe if we have already seen mass adoption. Google "technology adoption curve"... and tell me where you think we are on that? We are in exponential adoption currently. We will see massive gains. The last bubble was cut WAY short by the Chinese government.

Big companies taking bitcoin do not help in the short term. We need more infrastructure to make spending easier, so that people are more willing to hold their liquid assets in btc. |

Why do people think it is going to hit 10,000 for sure? I don't understand where you are coming from...and if you were so sure that Bitcoin was going to be huge, I am guessing you have over 1million BTC....If I knew it would be that big I would have hopped on board when they first came out..

I think the value of a whole bitcoin will be astronomical if bitcoin is able to succeed. I'm not 100% convinced it will succeed, but I'm damn sure it's worth the risk. I got in within a week of finding out about it, about 2.5 years ago. I should have bought more at $4, and I'm buying at any price now to make up for it. |

Because it's deflationary and finite. With any currency or commodity, the rarer it is, the higher in value it will become. In this case, Bitcoin has multiple properties going for it: it's a cryptocurrency, a protocol, distributed public ledger, etc.. It still has a ways to go, before everybody sees what the fuss is all about. |

It is almost impossible to hit $10,000. Today 1BTC=$477.34 . Few days ago it was like $525. So I don't think BTC will ever be able to hit $10,000.
