Like the title says, I've been trying for hours, even went and bought a new laptop and just can't get connected to my Ant!! I followed this guide:

http://coinhash.co/blogs/news/12221729-how-to-setup-antminer-s1-ip-network-configuration-guide-lan-wan-wifi-dhcp

The only thing I haven't been able to follow is allowing the "Obtain DNS server address automatically" Because it is greyed out, and won't let me choose it. I did enter 8.8.8.8 in there as I read somewhere that was required. I have 5 of these things to set up, and just getting one working is kicking my ass!! Angry

Thanks in advance for any help!!

If the DHCP function of your router is enabled (check your router configuration), it will automatically assign IP's to you LAN Devices (may lead to IP conflicts). Switch to static IP's and configure your Antminers and your other LAN Devices (Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones ect.) properly. Just make sure, they are within the same IP Range and no two devices share the same IP. By default, the Antminers use the same IP, so you can only access one of them. Change the static IP and you should be able to access another Antminer and so on.

Example Configuration (all IP's within the same range 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.255)

Router DCHP function: deactivated (-> static IP's)
IP of your router (gateway): 192.168.1.2
Network Mask (for all your devices): 255.255.255.0
Antminer #1 Default IP: 192.168.1.99 -> change to: 192.168.1.110
Antminer #2 Default IP: 192.168.1.99 -> change to: 192.168.1.111
Antminer #3 Default IP: 192.168.1.99 -> change to: 192.168.1.112
Antminer #4 Default IP: 192.168.1.99 -> change to: 192.168.1.113
Antminer #5 Default IP: 192.168.1.99 -> change to: 192.168.1.114
Laptop IP:        192.168.1.160
Smartphone IP: 192.168.1.161
SmartTV IP:     192.168.1.162

The DNS 8.8.8.8 should be fine.  It's from google, but any other DNS will do it too.

Thanks! I will give this a try as soon as I get home from work.

Ok, so I got my router set up for static ip addresses, but now the problem I have is that my routers default ip is 192.168.0.1 and when I try to change it to .1.2, I get an error that pops up and says undefined. Any ideas how I might change this?

Is DHCP really off? Have you set the correct network mask (255.255.255.0)? You may try 192.168.1.1 instead (the above configuration was an example only, i don't know your current network config). Be careful when changing static IP's, because you can only access devices within the same IP range (defined by the network mask) as your client (Laptop for example). What's the default IP of your AntMiners (it's printed on a white sticker on the AntMiners steel frame)? The default IP of your AntMiner may also be 192.168.2.99 or something else.
