I want to ask where it would be best to point 14 Th/s Asic mining power.

Try solo for few months.
If you like it, keep solo'ing.
Otherwise, http://eligius.st/
I can't really tell you why. I've done some reading about different pools few months ago and I determined eligius.st is good pool. But I don't remember why.
