I have over a dozen mining rigs that operate at 1.25 GH/s each. I have been running all of them for six months and have never experienced a failure in any part. The wattage varies from 650 watts to 750 watts due to circumstances I never figured out. Some might be concerned that the watt usage comes close to the rated wattage of the power supply. I've never had a problem with any of the sixteen power supplies that have all been running for six months. They are rated gold and stay quite cool during full load.

  • 4x SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5830
  • ASRock 870 EXTREME3 AM3 AMD 870 Motherboard
  • AMD Sempron 140 Sargas 2.7GHz Socket AM3 45W Single-Core Processor
  • 2 x Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3 8500) Desktop Memory
  • Western Digital 40GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
  • COUGAR-GX700 700W Power Supply (updated)

0 out of 16 remaining

If anyone from Eastern Alabama wants to see the rigs in person I can make that happen.

Asking $500 in the equivalent in bitcoin. Paypal is $515. Free shipping within the continental United States. Anywhere else I'll have to calculate the shipping costs and charge the additional cost.

Please ask any question you may have.

Here are the shelves that house and ventilate the rigs.

I can do $80 shipped. I have three extras. I'll start parting them out if there is high demand for the GPUs.

If you do part out, I'd be interested in the price on mobo/cpu/ram together?

cheers

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

If there is high demand for just the GPUs I'll start parting them out. For what you listed, $100 shipped. Prices will change depending on demand.

Hey, how do you have the cards mounted? are they just sitting there?

They're standing up on their own. A velcro strap ties the 6-pin power connector to the main 24 pin power connector to prevent them from falling over. It's tedious but it works once you have it just right.

Just sent payment for 2 5830's via Paypal. Please check PM.

Got it, thank you very much! I'll ship at the soonest possibility.

Hi Brian,

If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling your rigs now?

Thanks,

Would you be willing to part with a PSU or 2?

Right now a user is interested in buying all of them. He's in a state that has a low electric rate and a temperate climate, which I envy greatly. If that plan falls through and the demand for whole systems is low, I'll start parting them out. For now, I want to try to keep them whole.

Hi Brian,

Thanks,
gigavps

I'm moving soon and I won't have the room or the electric capacity to handle all this hardware. It takes 10 kilowatts to run all of it. Not the best timing considering the price has doubled in the last month, I'd love to keep doing it. Anyone with a cheap electrical source can get a lot hashes for pretty cheap.

Also, I got your messages after not visiting the forum for over a month, and perhaps not noticing them.

The user ended up backing away from the offer. Please PM me if you are interested.
