What is special about Bitgold?* Extremely rare - only 501'000 BitGolds to be ever mined, providing a high price of the coins. * PoW/PoS Hybrid, yearly interest in your coins which in the first year will be 10% * An interesting concept for maintaining same price and rising it: BitGold Developers are running a Multipool where they plan to start paying everything old to their miners in BotGold! This means that all the mined coins in the pool will be put in buy orders on exchanges for BotGold so that they can keep the buy pressure for it and maintain its price.
Is BitGold currently trading on any exchange?Still not.
What is expected price of BitGold?From BitGold official thread OP: The rates used by the Bit Gold IPO have been determined by multiple factors. These include comparison to other coins. The main coin we have compared this too is BitBars. Bitbars are currently valued between 0.1 to 0.05 BTC. The reason we compare BitGold to BitBars is they are both rare and scarce coins with some similar features. We believe BitGold can easily be worth more than BitBars though with an active community and ongoing development. I am applying a price of my GOLDs of 0.047 BTC per coin if you get all 31.25 and 0.07 per coin for less quantity. Minimum order is 1 GOLD.With the current 3984 blocks mined and the extremely small reward of 0.5 GOLDs per block, this mean that by the time of this post in existence there are less 2.000 GOLDs and that if you get all you will have above 1,5% of the whole coins in existence. |

The value is still to be defined by the market but it is potentionsly high due to rarity. Are you interested? |

Glad to see some trading going on, I really have faith in this coin. Remember each .5 is equal to a whole block which also means 1 coin is 10 minutes mining on the WHOLE network. Deffinately a good investment imo.
