Hi All,

Wondering if there are other Hungarians around in this forum? (Seen some miners on Deepbit - team: Hungary, but not too many...)

It would be fun to organize a meetup!
Anyone interested?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I will be visiting Budapest with my wife in March (around 20-23), and will have some time to meet with Hungarian Bitcoin lovers. She has a biology convention, so I'm trying to find interesting things to do.

If anyone organizes a meetup, I'll do my best to show up, barring any colliding plans that I don't know of yet.

Please do not pm me, use ron@bitcoin.org.il instead

Looking around the scene, there are not too many to meet up with - beside me. But I am open to some smalltalk and a couple of beer. PM me if Your programs clarify, and You have the mood! :-)
