Hashrate currently only 0.10 on BitMinter v1.5.0
How can I increase the number of cores being used?
Running an Intel i7-3770K at 3.50 GHz.

Let's see. That is 10kh/s, and if you are mining bitcoin, you will earn 0.00000001BTC, which is equal to 0.000004414 USD.
In a week, you will make 0.00000006BTC, equal to 0.00002648 USD.
In a month, you will earn 0.00000025BTC, or 0.000113 USD.

You can't even make a cent in 5 months.
You cannot increase the hashrate.
You seriously need to watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmOzih6I1zs

First, a i7-3770K should produce around 5 Mh/s.
When you say hashrate is "0.10" is that h/s, Kh/s, Mh/s, Gh/s?

You can just buy a miner? lol.

I mean from the looks of it, I`m aware you dont want to spend any. But the rate its going, the computer wont product anything, just like the above results.

Invest in several hundred dollars, and hope for the value to go hope?

Bitminter is a great pool is you've got a a few GIGA hashes (1,000,000 Kilohash) of mining power... the bitcoin network difficulty is too hard for CPUs or GPUs to be worth running on it any more.

However, there are alternative "coins" such as primecoin, XPM, which can be mined with CPUs still, and traded for bitcoin. The best "CPU coin" pool is ypool.net IMO which has primecoin and a few more and has helpful setup instructions. An i7 may earn a buck or two a day on CPU coins.

TL;DR See Spot run. Run Spot run. .... .... Freelance interweb comedian, for teh lulz >>> 1MqAAR4XkJWfDt367hVTv5SstPZ54Fwse6

Forget about mining bitcoin with your CPU. You won't get anything from it.

If you really really want to try mining, try to mine some CPU-only coins.
