Banks and government will be the last places you can use bitcoin.

I would say insurance based services paid in Bitcoin would be interesting using a distributed escrow contract could withdrawal the funds at the prescribed rate and would not need to worry about it for long periods of time, also can close the contract at any time without being sold to. You can. Go to an exchange and get real money for your bitcoin and you can pay your mortgage w/ it. |

I desperately want BTC to be accepted in the local supermarket. Every month almost 30-40% of my expenses are covered there. Right now I am using CC, will be better if I could use BTC.

They offered insurance for house, car, etc. Thinking about it I recalled that thread but forgot where it went The idea seemed interesting though its just i can't recall how they said it would work in practice although if enough people used it could become a discount to all users kind of like the ones alumni of a university can get off car insurance lol. For me it would be supermarket and petrol as they are my two main expenses.
At the moment I use a cashback credit card so I probably earn in cashback what they may give you discount in BTC but I hate CC.
