I bought ten when they were on sale. Still in their original packaging and I've never used them.

What can I do with a Yubikey? I personally use it for lastpass. Couldn't have an easier multi-authentication implementation.

Buyers also take note, only Yubikeys issued by MtGox will work there - these won't. However, these are still full of win - I have a whole keychain of them =D
My favorite use for them is with LastPass. Works great.

It is. Mt.Gox uses their own activation server and locks their YubiKeys so that you can't change the configuration parameters.

That's a good point. I never understood why Mt. Gox did that. They have a seperate configuration for logging in and withdrawing funds. I don't know how splitting them up makes it any safer and I don't know why they couldn't just go with a generic yubikey.

Sure, I'll just have to figure out the rate. It shouldn't be too much more, they are pretty tiny.

This is because it is possible to generate more than one OTP at a time, and record them - they are still valid since there is no time factor as in OATH-TOTP. So, you could theoretically record the next 10 keys and type them manually in sequence as needed. The reason for a separate step would be to foil an attacker that got a list of these keys, or perhaps one that convinced a user to give them an OTP - the attacker might be able to login and trade, but he wouldn't be able to withdraw.

Three more have been purchased. Only three remain. Already have some interest, so they won't last much longer.

Got the three I ordered, works perfectly.  Good deal!

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.
