As per znort987
Quote
    . Loan principal = 100BTC
    . Interest rate = 15% per month
. Payable back on or before Feb. 3rd 2012
. No partial installments accepted, but one shot early repayment OK
. Interests will be pro-rated to rounded-up number of days money was borrowed
. Amount to pay back on Feb. 3rd will be BTC 100 (principal) + BTC 15 (interests) = BTC 115 (total)

If you agree, I'll send the BTC within the hour to 14ZYVka4JkLvxdRJuuX9odyijGLEwJAbec
I received the 100BTC loan on 1/3/2012, and will repay 115BTC on 2/3/2012 to 1HYMB9gQmqGUb8DcxbURin5FchZKBrRWuV

He is probably gambling your money on the stock market.

He claims he "can make 15-25% or even more on your money per yr, with almost zero risk."
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=53973.20

It seems suspicious to me.  He is reporting gains on what looks like a loss. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=53973.msg643704#msg643704

Lender beware

So whats your point? That you have to thread crap all the time?

Just for thoughts:
Why would I borrow at 15% per month, and put that money into something that makes 15% per YR? I am not that stupid. 15% a month compounded is 535%. You really think I would borrow at 535% a yr, and put it into something that makes 15% a yr?
BTW, do you know that most stock brokers would happily let you borrow at 8% per yr? Again, why borrow at 535% when I can get the same fund for 8%? The stock broker would be more than willing to lend me close to 100k, with the amount of stocks I have invested with them.

I hate thread crappers.

1. Doesn't matter if chungenhung spends his money on hookers and blow as long as he repays
2. It's probably for mining, I think
3. He has a good reputation
4. As chungenhung himself said: "You really think I would borrow at 535% a yr, and put it into something that makes 15% a yr?"
5. You don't have to loan to him if you don't want to

Hey, send me 1000BTC at 535% a year and I'd be happy to start a new account and ditch this one Grin

There are almost certainly people on this forum with that strategy.  I don't know if chung is one, but his actions are consistent with it.

Tell you what, why don't you and I put down 15BTC each to a trusted member.
If I repay my loan, I would get all the 30BTC.
If I failed to repay, you keep all 30BTC.

Are you in? We can of course always up the bet to 1000BTC bet. it's all up to you.
