More like "A paypal substitute using bitcoin will destroy paypal". Paypal has employees that handle issues and a system designed for ease of use. Bitcoin has neither alone. |

So if a transaction with Bitcoins happens through PayPal, would they require you to send to a non-existing address to theoretically destroy the coins?
This gives me an idea. If I sold myself as a human slave through paypal and someone claimed that I wasn't as advertised, would they make me kill myself? |

It's a shame there isn't really a company that is as 'easy to use' and widely accepted as paypal, makes them difficult to boycott. =/

Easy to destroy bitcoin, if that's what your getting at. Just send it to an unused address.

Sending to an unsused address does not unambigously destrory bitcoin. You need to create a transaction that provably can not be redeemed (like requiring a SHA-256 hash of 0).
