HA, yeah I did the same thing the other day before I liquidated my long position; sold all but one just to see what it would say the base price was.  Like -$87 or some such.  So at that point someone had apparently paid me $87 to take that bitcoin.   Grin

Imagine bitcoin crashing to its doom, and the mtgox price being nearly zero. Bitcoinica's sell rate would be negative, meaning you'd have to pay to get rid of your coins Tongue
