Does somebody have a tutorial on how to configure this for an altcoin? I need a block explorer.

Hi,

did you read the complete readme.md?

https://github.com/bitcoin-abe/bitcoin-abe

It's exactly the same as it is for Bitcoin.

There's even some examples in the config file. Just modify the examples to fit the altcoin you're running and it should work fine.
