I am surprised how simple BCN mining works and I definitely like it.

I have two CPUs (i7+i5) solo mining at the moment and it took me half an hour to set it all up by myself which is a kind of a personal achievement.

The questions is, will mining go faster if I use minergate.com?

Just thinking of a way to make the process more efficient, any thoughts?

Nice to hear that BCN mining is as simple as it were told. Have you already tried minergate.com? I find this a very good idea

Glad to here you've started solo mining with success!

Wish you good luck - let us know how much you'd be able to mine. I'd like to compare your results with mine and with the results shown in wiki - https://wiki.bytecoin.org/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

Minergate is simple in use and indeed is high quality product.

Guys who are stand behind this are familiar with the CryptoNote protocol.

Noticed that they are like bcn dev team trying to stay in shadow. Is it possible they are closely related to bcn devs? Or even these are the same people?

It's possible I suppose. There's a link on cryptonote.org to bytecoin.org. But this argument isn't strong enough.
And according to cryptonote-forum there are two different teams - bytecoin and cryptonote, they contact to each other.

ShitHappens,if you make you inferences according to the fact they are willing to stay in shadow instead of showing themselves then you could tell the same thing like about 50% of our community, or even more.

There is no point to tell they are connected. IMO,  great to know there is people who work for the idea nor for being popular.
