My shares are showing up on the stats page with rewards listed but my balance never increases?
If you see garbage posts (off-topic, trolling, spam, no point, etc.), use the "report to moderator" links. All reports are investigated, though you will rarely be contacted about your reports.

What pool are you on?? Some pay for shares and some dont

What pool?
What is their payout method?
Has the pool found a block?

What's your limit before transferring? If you don't have a lot of power then you may be well under the default setting. 1 BTC has been the default on the pools I use.

balance where?
i have been mucking about with 3 pools & they all have balance - in the pool accounts.
my actual wallet is empty as i haven't asked for or reached payout yet.
