Hey please , I wonder :

I unlocked my wallet when POS start ( 4h ago ) , when i can receive coin like above ?
Why someone already receive POS-coin ? Did they unlocked wallet from 2 weeks ago - before POS start ?

Thanks

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hi all,

Great community, impressive coin !

Im not familliar to POS.  Is this mean that the coin is not minable anymaore ?

Is the wallet v 1.0.0.1 is working for the POS.  If yes.. I've some coin in it, it's unlocked, so should I see incomming coin in the future ?  If yes, whats the frequency of the incomming coin ?  Are they distributed at each block ?

Thank you in advance..  I appreciate any answer and wish long live to AsiaCoin and the community.

Hi all, I am new here.

I see some people asking for new wallet, and someone just posted a picture of wallet with Stake.
So, do we really need the new wallet for anything to work?

A little bit info to share:
In the wallet debug window, type getinfo and you will see a line like this
"keypoololdest" : 1398657969,
copy the number and convert it at http://www.epochconverter.com/
and you should see a time
this should be the oldest coinage, so 2 weeks later of this time, you will get some stakes (after sync).

You should see coins, but there's not a real accurate way to predict, sometimes they come quickly sometimes there's a lull. Plus you can think of it as mining on a smaller scale, there's good luck/bad luck, possibility of orphans, but i've not had a single POS coin NOT stake when the coins were appropriate age. Just be patient.

I don't see todays dump as an critical issue. It was a normal deep breath the coin is taking. A huge competitor, WC, just failed hard and some people will take a break to calm down from their shock. After that they'll look for other POS coins and see that AC is very cheap right now.

Just let this day pass and the sun will shine again for Asia Smiley

you need to keep your coins at least two weeks before they can stake, afterward it will stake faster if you have bigger blocks of coins (a 1000 coin block will stake faster than 10x100 coins blocks) so don't worry if it is taking a bit of time, it is completely normal

stake coin come when they come, there is a bit of luck involved so be patient

You guys talk like the dev is missing for day's and week's at a time im guessing he has a life outside of this place.

That's right. The developer is doing a great job. So far there haven't been any significant problems with this coin. The "problem" with the POS only existed in people's imagination. The developer can't be on this board constantly holding people's hand.

Anyone who panicked and sold for a low price, that's your problem. That's the nature of short-term speculation, you often do the wrong thing. I believe that the developer has earned my trust, so I intend to told on to my Asiacoins. This is a great coin and it has a great developer; I see no evidence to suggest otherwise.

I have some quesstion :

1 - I withdraw coin from exchange site to my wallet when POS start ( 4h ago ) , then do i have to wait for 2 weeks to stake ?
2 - With the one already receive stake coin , did they unlock from 2 week ago OR they only need unlock when POS start ?
3 - Example : my wallet is keep for 2 week with 1000 coin , then i get more 500 coin , then wallet will stake with 1000 coin , after 2 week , wallet will stake with 1500 coin , isn't it ?  OR it will reset to 2 week (  by get more coin to wallet )

1. yes
2. unlock after 2 weeks, however you are suggest to unlock all the time so the stake can be compound as soon as possible
3. after sync and mint the stake, the coinage should be reset (cant sure for this), so wait another 2 weeks for next stake

1. Yes you need to wait 2 weeks from the date you received the coins.
2. People who mined from the start are already receiving PoS stakes as 2 weeks have already passed since we got the coins in the wallets.
3. It's a compound interest so once you mint new coins, they need to mature for 2 weeks and are also staking.

Do we NEED one for any reason? No if the current one is working. But if you look at some other POS wallets, there are some nice features. The Summercoin wallet, for example, has the unlock button on the main page (so it's easier to unlock), plus it has a nice icon indicator that turns green when you have eligible coins and goes grey when you don't. Plus it has an estimation (not accurate though) that says what your stake weight is, estimated minutes until possible stake, etc...

Just got my interest, only  0.225 AC

Not a great deal at the moment lol

Hope to see it going up if its going to be paid daily.

Should be 30,000 / 365 = 80 (ish)

ish because its compound interest or whatever.

But im liking it!!!

That interest is only for the first transaction that you received in the wallet. I am assuming you did not get all 30k at once. So be patient and you will see more pay outs still today. I was withdrawing my ACs on 100 batches from the pool and I already received 6 stakes today and they keep coming. Average value so far is bettwen 3 and 8 coins.
