Honestly I don't know what's going on either.  A month ago I sold MGK 2 Lealana coins, a Series 1 and 2 for .25 BTC.  I shipped first without escrow and he sent payment.  Last week I sold him 4 coins, 2 Series 1 and 2 Series 2 for .5 BTC; same deal, I sent first, no escrow, sent it priority mail with signature confirmation so I know he received it.  I haven't received payment and he hasn't replied back to my messages.  I know people can be busy around the holidays but if now multiple people are looking for their items then I have a bad feeling.  I would love to hear from MGK and get paid. I haven't left any trust feedback yet because I'm hoping this is a non-issue and can be resolved; not that it really matters if I'm out my BTC. I will leave another update at the end of the day.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM -MGK.   HE'S  SCAMMED ME OUT OF 5 BTC LAST WEEK.  HE OFFERED DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCT AND IN THEY END ON THE LAST DAY WAS LOOKING FOR ESCROW.  I WANTED THE MINER SOONER THAN HE COULD DELIVER SO  I PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT AND HE WAS GOING TO SHIP.  I HAVENT HEARD WORD FROM SINCE THE DAY HE WAS SUPPOSE TO DELIVER OVER A WEEK AGO.   I LOST 5 OF WHAT WAS SUPPOSE TO COST 7BTC,   HE HAS VERY GOOD FOLLOW UP AND HE TRYS TO GAIN YOUR TRUST BY WANTING TO TALK VIA PHONE AND TEXT.  HE STARTS HIS SCAMMING BY PLAYING UP THE SCENARIO THAT HE'S  COULD BE SCAMMED A BY A BUYER RECEIVING A PACKAGE AND SAY THEY DIDNT OR SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE ITEM.  DONT FALL FOR HIS SMOOTH TALK HE'S A CROOK.  HE'S BEEN QUITE ACTIVE IN THE FORUMS SO WHY HE WANTS TO RUIN HIS RAP IS BEYOND ME.

Looks like after selling me a Casascius coin (I sent BTC with no escrow and he delivered it)...he scammed others by taking BTC and not shipping items.  He probably used the sale to me to scam others??  Now that I think of it he did send me a message that sorta supports this...seemed innocent at the time though.

I was going to inquire about this coin until I got done reading this. Do people on this forum get scam like this often? What would be a safe way to buy something from members of this forum?

1. Never send anything first (payment or goods)
2. Never send anything first to newbies
3. Never use paypal

1. Only deal with members with proven track record of successful trades
2. Only deal in non-reversible payment types
3. Only deal in person if you don't trust the other party

*****Be careful who you use for escrow, even high ranking long time members on here have been known to take off with other peoples money after gaining their trust.

Good luck with everything. PM me if you have any questions. I am also in California by the way.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking of using paypal for my first purchase because of the buyer protection. It now seems that using PayPal is frown upon here. What city are you in , justbtcme, I am in Burlingame, maybe we can do a face to face deal?

Excellent ! I am also in the Bay Area as well but let us not hijack this post, I will PM you the details.

I'll take the graded coin for 1.5

How do we proceed?

You can sent 1.5BTC to

1LWPras7T3Ban1TyqEUL4Zsiy3wEXxG8nT

and send me a PM what address you want it shipped to. I am sending another coin out tomorrow so I can have yours out with that one assuming you are in the US.

Let me know once you send so I can confirm and mark them as sold. Thanks.

Happy ?
