I met them at a couple of the conferences and have done business with them multiple times in the past. I don't think they are a scam at all. Best of luck.

BIPS "lost" more than 1200 BTC less than half a year ago.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252308.140

They never released any details on the "hack".
They never paid one single satoshi back to the customers in remorse.
Not even a apology, they basically said it was the customers own fault to keep money at them.
As far as I know they keep all the funds for them self.

Customer service is very nice at BIPS, until there is a problem.

Don't trust these scammers they are crocks!

Me either, I was paid several hours ago, it is confirmed and green, they have NOT forwarded my btc on to my wallet on file as per my standing instructions. Not happy at all about it, they've several hundred dollars of my bitcoin they are holding... not making me feel very secure, they also aren't answer my ticket.

If I understood properly: they don't pay until you ask them to (ticket), even if you have your account configured for them to do so?

In the past they've automatically paid me with the few orders I've had go through them. This time they are sitting on my coins and non-responsive.

Edit: update, they paid me several hours after this post, they were doing some work (upgrades) to their system and had manually stopped payments while doing it.
