Firefox still the best for me as Chrome shrinks when you open multiple tabs
yeah, that gets a bit annoying but it's still a bit faster I think, and more simple..

Go use IE 11, Not 7/8/9 or 10 and you will see that nothing even takes 20 seconds, letalone the exaggerated 20 minutes 7/8/9 were buggy and sluggish compared to their competition at the same point in time People need to stop comparing FF and Chrome to their outdated Old experiances with IE Firefox (default) loads about 1-2 seconds slower than IE11, and chrome loads maaaaaaaaybe 500ms faster

well sir you just made my day but srlys explorer can't get any slower ? or can it ? I assume you don't have version 11? Or even 10? Your practically saying "hahahhh your game runs at shit FPS because it wasn't Patched like mine" *rolling my eyes at my own analogy* Try the recent version and see how "slow" it moves. If you guys love firefox, but find it a bit slow, you can get Waterfox! The fast fox! http://www.waterfoxproject.org/

I rarely use IE, but I have IE8 installed and with my SSD, IE8 x64 is fast. Firefox is slow compared to my palemoon. Palemoon implemented decrease of bootup time along and with adblock plus dev build holy shit, startup times is in Milliseconds, I had swiron installed, that seemed fast as well same with chrome fast and dragon by comodo is fast. I think all your slow problems rely in your old or new slow ass HDD's. :p Get an ssd then talk shit

For example, my fathers old (not even good measured with the standards back then) laptop from 2005 earlier ran Windows XP. It would take ~40 minutes to boot up, and then it would need another 10 minutes to start internet explorer. However, since the XP support was dropped last week, I managed to convince him to let me install Lubuntu on his computer. Now it boots up in less than 1 minute, and firefox starts within seconds. So it depends on lots of stuff.

Yes, but only to a certain degree. Lots of other factors as well.

I use chrome because i like the plug ins. Hate internet explorer because of ads and pop ups. Im sure you can stop those now, but have not used IE in a long time to figure it out.

I never liked IE and switched to Firefox in its early days. The past 3 years I have been a Chrome user and advocate. It is especially a great browser to sync everything with my laptop and Android smartphone that uses Chrome. There are plenty of great extensions with Chrome and I find them easier to disable, install, or delete if needed than the other browsers.
