The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

It is a shame that Paypal treats all counterfeits the same.  In the instrument world counterfeits are common and part of history and are NOT to be destroyed.  A known counterfeit can be worth more then ten thousand dollars and be irreplaceable.

Bitcoin does not have any dispute resolution service so it's hard to compare.

neither does 'USD' have any dispute resolution service.

you're right though, Paypal is a transaction service, not a currency.
