There is a problem with a new coin that started in February (The coin is Gaycoin).

The coin was first pre-announced at https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/4935-pre-ann-gay-gaycoin/ on February 11, 2014, It contained all the details of the coin [SHA-256, 15.6 million coins, etc.] and promised a fair launch for February 14, 2014.

Apparently on launch day, another Gaycoin (scrypt clone) was announced on bitcointalk https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/8220-gaycoin-gay-information/. This coin was premined and did not provide any mining pools (actually claimed to be CPU-only poolless scrypt, which is probably not true)...

Anyway, mining is still going good at the gay.minebig.com pool, but the developer for the SHA-256 Gaycoin has not posted the source code or a block explorer and nobody has heard from the developer since a few days after launch.

I was advised that the coin needs a developer to take over... I myself am not gay, I just mined because the numbers looked good and know the potential profitability in places like San Francisco (where pride festivals are held all year and the first California Bitcoin ATMs have come from)... I did pretty well mining (by accident actually) when I started mining there were terahashes of mining power at the pool and I was at 120 Gh/s or so... in the next few days the mining power dropped off and the block times slowed down big time so I increased my mining power to bring the pool back up to speed. this happened all month, lots of hit and runners and reviving the pool...

Now would be a great time if someone can take over and help exchanges get interested, once Gaycoin is on an exchange, we can vote it to a site like Coinpayments.com... I don't have any BTC, but may be willing to pay a Gaycoin bounty, for developer help (so that us miners can promote the coin more confidently on facebook, etc... plus the scrypt Gaycoin guy is really annoying and makes a bad image for the bitcoin community, rather than work through differences. (He did finally agree to change his facebook to Gay Currency at one point but has changed it back to Gaycoin again and has previously said he is not willing to change his coin Acronym... As of now we are 2nd place for being added next to CryptoRush exchange, many of us have donated towards voting (CryptoRush has confirmed that the voting is for the SHA256 Gaycoin....please tell me what you think is possible in this situation...Feel free to post on https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/5151-gaycoin-gay-information/ if you have any ideas on moving forward, just we don't want to publicly argue with the scrypt gaycoin guy anymore..

... I myself am not gay.

We understand. Rest assured there will be no judgement passed here.
