ANNOUNCEMENT RE MULTIPOOL

Pool information as well as what coin the pool is currently mining should now be displaying on the front end at whitecoinpool.com

us-east and europe stratums are in the clear.

Please update us on how PoS is going to work, no one is seeing stakes yet.

Why do you want PoS to work??? You will only get 0.0054% more WC per day? If WC gets to 2000 satoshis who cares about 0.0054% per day...

Uh, shouldn't you care more about stake the more the coin is worth?

Do you know how much 0.0054% per day is? Is almost next to nothing... Even a crappy bank gives you more interest. Stake doesn't matter if the coin falls in price 1% in a day. Do you understand now?

3 BTC sell wall at 1150 just got destroyed by buying pressure, now buying occurring at 1189.

And someone just threw up a 3.5 BTC sell wall at 1185. Who are these big bagholders who are selling everything before we even get to the good part?

You have to remember that a lot of people bought at 1500-2400 satoshis range, they are scared right now and panic sell just to cut their losses.

It's a shame they don't take time to read the thread and realize now is the time to buy, not sell.

Yes I know, I made the mistake before of panic sell, I bought at 2000. But bought again at 1300, will just hold to 2000-3000 range.

Agree mostly.  Pos is the only way to generate coins now, which encourages ppl to hold than day trade.  Right now, very obvious to keep your coin ready.  In the future, pos will be like a savings coin.

I have contacted the devs and requested clarification, as I understand it staking does not begin until after coins have been held in the active wallet for some time.

I prefer PoS because we don't waste stupid amounts of electricity. I consider PoS that all cryptos should adopt.

Thanks to everyone who mined on Dedicatedpool for Whitecoin!

At the end of PoW, I disabled payouts for an hour or so to make sure that after there was a big change in hash power on the coin, that there were no forks.

Now that the dust settled, I have successfully sent 50 WC to mintpal and it succeeded.

If you have whitecoin you need to withdraw, please log on and get them now.

Thanks!

I advise all miners to shift their hash to Asia coin for this week.  Its POW ends next week and goes POS as well.  After it ends and all the dust settles here I would go back to a decent WC multipool long term till ZeroCoin launches (if ever)

Might be a good idea to also check out Juggalocoin.  I'm serious.  They run X11 and have a tight development/marketing team.  Up until now they've kept the coin low key.  To all of the Juggalo haters out there who say the Juggalos and cyber-currency don't mix, remember that for lots of them the Juggalo thing is an (expensive) weekend/hobby activity to get out of the office and in their "real" lives lots of those guys/girls  are system admins, coders, etc.  I'm not pimping the coin: it has done much yet, still low value, one weak exchange somewhere in Europe but there's definite potential.

I advise all miners to shift their hash to Asia coin for this week.  Its POW ends next week and goes POS as well.  After it ends and all the dust settles here I would go back to a decent WC multipool long term till ZeroCoin launches (if ever)

You guys are insane.  Whitecoin is already done with all that crap and will be launching for takeoff soon.  If yall want to shift gears and start over go for it.  I'll be looking down at ya when we hit the stratosphere.

Impossible is a word found only in the dictionary of fools.
