It's just that calendar date - April 11.

In 2013 it was then the all time record high of $266.

In 2014 it hit the record low this time of $339.

Both of these extremes were hit on April 11.

Is there some kind of occult symbolism associated with April 11?  Shocked

Once is luck.  Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day.  Give a man a Poisson distribution and he eats at random times independent of one another, at a constant known rate.
