Hallo,

Code:
On Apr 11, 2014 you sent 0.00057088 BTC to "meine adresse". This transaction was never accepted by the bitcoin network and has been unconfirmed for 24 hours, so we've removed it and restored the bitcoin to your account.

Code:
Why was my transaction never confirmed?

Occasionally bitcoin transactions are not accepted by the rest of the bitcoin network, and therefore are never considered to be "confirmed".

The most common causes of an unconfirmed transaction are:

Sending a very small amount with insufficient fees
Coinbase pays miner fees for you on transactions above 0.01 BTC so your normally don't need to worry about this. But if you are sending an amount less than 0.01 BTC it is up to you to set your own miner fee to make sure the transaction gets confirmed. If an insufficient fee is included, your transaction may never confirm.

A double spend of the same coins
Under normal conditions this should not occur with transactions generated by Coinbase (our backend systems are designed to prevent this), but in general if two transactions try to spend the same coins one of them will never be confirmed by the network.

You are trying to spend unconfirmed coins
If you are trying to spend coins that appear as pending in your account, your transaction will not be generated until these coins confirm.

If you have a transaction in your account that has gone unconfirmed for more than 24 hours, Coinbase will remove it and notify you by email. If you are the sender of the transaction, the coins will always be restored to your account so there is no loss of coins when this happens.
