I've been lurking for a bit now, but I still can't post or PM people. But a post I saw in the speculation forums has been bugging me.

ArsenShnurkov stated that S3052 told his subscribers to short. I'm a subscriber to S3052(and I look at his site), and I don't see this. I'm looking through my weekly reports and do not where he tells people to short sell.

If someone could post in that topic on the speculation board or PM him for me with this message that'd be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

You only need 1 post to be able to send PMs. Are you sure that you can't send them?

Yes, going short means believing the price will drop.

How right does this S3052 tend to be? If you have the right following, you can make a killing by taking advantage of followers by telling them to sell and buying yourself.

Its the opposite. If you have enough "followers" you can make self fullfilling prophecies and be one step ahead of everyone else.

Both approaches are valid and older than dirt itself. Typically both will be used over the term of an operation. Making your victims thank you for it, that's a special feeling  Wink
