its not the fact of the ATM exactly, its the proof that chinese exchanges are expanding their business and not dissolving their business. so confidence in china is returning. time to buy up while in the 400's as its about to go back to 600-1000 this week..

From the article: But Bitcoin audience is too small, and the distribution of scattered even more concentrated in some areas, the overall demand for Bitcoin ATM machine is still very small in terms of, and the convenience of online transactions and bitcoin far greater than the line Under the transaction, the symbolic launch of the ATM machine should be far greater than the actual meaning. Also, it's not a "Bitcoin ATM", just another vending machine which sells some kind of Bitcoin card.

I'd hardly say the price went 'bonkers'. This news is probably unrelated but people always try find a story as the source or cause of the price rise.

I am confused. What makes you think that this set of ATMs will be allowed to operate freely in mainland China? One more thing, is this ATM capable of converting BTC to CNY?

This is the positive news out of China? A Bitcoin ATM from OKCoin?
Doesn't sound that major...but I guess anything that allows circumvention from the PBOC.
Only question is, if the PBOC don't like these ATMs, can't they just rule it's illegal to have one like they did with bank deposits?

Does anyone have a handle on the Withdrawal features yet?
So will be able to exchange Cash for Ƀ at the ATM, but after trading on the site(s) how do clients withdraw cash back to their bank?
Hopefully the ATM's will also dispense Cash for Ƀ too
