Hello All,

I have been a bitcointalk member and user for a while now and have realized that the members as well as the layout of the website and the structure doesnt support new users. The information and advice given in this forums is all over the place and people who have been members for a long time have generally got a very poor and negative attitude towards the newbies.
Also there is loads of information on this forum regarding ALTCOINS which i feel is a good way for newbies to procure some coins but they just make it very very confusing.
I am not asking for any help, just giving my opinion that people on this forum should be more supportive and also the moderators of this forum should be more organized.
Leave a comment if you think i am making sense.

Fuck off, newb. Just kidding  Grin. Apart from being nicer to newbs what would you suggest to make the forums better or more user friendly? What's confusing about alt coins?

I think we support the newbies but don't quite show them enough how to do stuff and instruct them..

Thanks for the reply
I think its just how things have been all along not only in these forums but generally in life and the way the world has evolved.
We are always trying to pick on the younger ones. The larger dogs pick on smallers ones and so on.
Its not something new but one day im going to big and then ill probably pick on the newbies as well.

Bitcoin is not for the average user.  Half the people in the world have below average intelligence - in order to understand Bitcoin you need to be in the other half.

I post for interest - not signature spam.

Will Theymos finish his $100,000,000 forum before this one shuts down?

Just on a small note, I think you meant median. The average may not be the same (and usually in the case of things with large statistical outliers it isn't) as the median.

Learning takes time and so is being used to the BTT system.

There is no need to rush on the information we can learn from this forum. We cannot digest everything at once. So let's learn everything bits by bits.

I found the sticky threads very helpful especially the 'NEWBIE README' thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177133.0 .
