Yeah, if it was all automated, then I expect any business person could manage it.

I'd almost be afraid of where some people here would want to put their faucets, so not so sure it'd make sense for the IPO. Or at least limit what can be placed on the official map for the project. You may end up with faucets in Antarctica, the middle of the Pacific, inside war zones, etc.

I like the postcard image a lot. I don't like the little logo as much. Maybe that one can be changed?

Any faucet would need to be pretty sophisticated.  Spoofing your lat.lon coordinates is a piece of cake.  Sharing a QR code with thousands of people would be easy.  I do have an idea to make it more secure.  Maybe I'll send a PM with the idea.

I have been thinking about this.

I am probably going to limit the movement a person can go.  If someone really wants to program an app to emulate travel around the world they can, good for them.
