Recently lots of people were short on bitcoinica (they were out of bitcoins for further sells). This might result in a nice litte short squeeze Grin.

how recently?

Yesterday, but I don't remember the time, I saw it quite frequently.

If you do the same analysis on a chart right now I believe it will show another triangle. Are we about to go up to $8 in the next couple of hours?

yes anytime between now and 96 hours from now we will suddenly break out to 8.xx
