Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

It had 2 or 3 cables full of 4pin molex connectors that are usually used to run DVD drives and shit, and I didn't like them cluttering my case up so I removed them. In hindsight, I probably should not have, but it still works fine. All 6 of the 6pin video card connectors are intact. It is rated at 1200 continuous, and 1400 peak, and according to the specs should be good for 83% efficiency. (not sure about the certification though) It originally came with a 7 year warranty (which i have probably voided ) and is a server-grade part.

thanks anyways but ive killed enough psu's to know I have to have them certified
even the crappy xion psus claim to be 80% efficient but without the certification I cant believe it.
I am sure your PSU is good as you claim but I cant risk it, thanks anyways

yeah your right "mate" ive never heard of those things i guess youve never heard of the 80 plus certification standard if you would like to read up on it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/80_PLUSbasically it means you would be stupid as hell to spend over $200 on a PSU that is not certified 80 plus.

You realize that the certification has less to do with whether or not overloading it will kill it, as it does power efficiency, right?
It's basically the power supply equivilant of energystar... or whatever...

Not trying to be a dick, I am just amused by this. Just because a company doesn't want to pay a tax to a 3rd party testing agency for a little gold sticker doesn't mean they don't make an efficient and quality product. Check out the newegg reviews if you want. BTW, according to the published efficiency curve, it would meet 80 Plus standards.
