We've just fixed the checkpoints and re-uploaded the new wallets to the OP.

Git source is the same old broken

Nope, its the new one - latest commit should be "fixed checkpoint typo".

But you'll need to redownload the blockchain, make sure to delete your /home/user/.marucoin folder for this !

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Why didn't you say so earlier? I have had that same binary for 40 minutes already, and marucoin's github was disabled while you went compiling the binaries or something like that.

Its a new algo and we're mining with CPU's only.. and we have 3 minutes block time.. this coin will be quite rare..

At least I've found two blocks so far - yippie - ! :-)

Like this coin.. reminds me of the early days..

Is anyone working on a cpu miner for this ? As I see the algo's are all based on sphlib, so it should not be too hard.

Question to the Dev again:
Is someone already writing a stratum implementation for this (for pools) ?

Starting with Block 141, DGW kicks in, this should make it a lot easier, we underestimated that diff would rise so fast at start - sorry guys !

We are not aware of someone working on a cpu or gpu miner at the moment, hopefully someone will and post the progress here.

Same with the stratum implemenation, you asked earlier if this is EMC in X11, not really, it is Darksteinium in X13 :-)
We can provide a python-hash module quite soon probably, if someone is able to set up a p2pool that would be really great !

I'm working on p2pool. Should be ready in 1 to 2 hours.

Mac link = windows files

Please post the correct link!

https://mega.co.nz/#!JkpQTCiD!3U2rxjxPGxHaOIqpEPowmqzQRmaxeW9OBst01dgzTAw
(Contains MuraCoin1.0-Mac)

Those are the Mac Wallet Files, if they do not work, someone else will have to compile them, they were compiled under Mavericks and tested on one other MacBook Air without problems.

We'll provide python-hash module in a few minutes, but you probably have to modify p2pool to use einsteinium mods too.

Python Hash Module is here:

https://github.com/MaruCoinOfficial/x13-hash

Also added to OP.

@tz:
If you have problems syncing, try to delete your Appdata Folder of Marucoin (including the blockchain, peers, wallet etc.) and restart the app, it should sync fine upon first start.

We currently have 94 blocks and 121 connections on our seed node.
